The sushi here was pretty good but nothing over the top. It's a nice restaurant to visit during lunch because the service is quick. There is plenty of seating for large parties. The staff was friendly and inviting. It's worth checking out if you want a quick lunch.

My family's favorite sushi place. Super sad to see it closing.

Bait and switch on the happy hour. The place is going out and we just wanted one last bite before they bit the dust. Don't believe anything you're told because the unshaved keep will tell you anything to get people in. The happy hour says $1 nigiri but once we finished THEN they say you have to buy a roll to get the happy hour! So we agree, then again they say no, everyone who participated in the nigiri has to order a roll! This is not on any sign and they didn't mention it when we called ahead. Avoid and cross your fingers the new owners aren't such scammers.

I visited here a few years ago and loved it. Last week I used door-dash and ordered it to be delivered at my work. It was fantastic once again, however, I wasn't crazy about the slaw at all. The menu I ordered off didn't mention that the roll already comes with it so I ordered a side of it. I couldn't eat any of it after one bite. It had a funky taste. I would happily eat the sushi anytime though! One thing to note here...they used to have a location inside of Lulu's pizza on Bogus Basin road. We took my MIL there tonight for her birthday, thinking it was still Superb Sushi. Well, it's not and we were really disappointed. Lulu's apparently bought out that location and runs it as their own now. They are no where near as good as Superb.

The lunch specials are always a good deal. The sushi is always good and the staff are friendly. Even though you're downstairs the atrium and lighting are nice for all seasons.

After watching a show on the travel channel that visited Superb Sushi, I had to try it. So we went and I have to say the sushi is pretty superb. The portions where huge and beautifully displayed on the plates. The server was attentive and the menu was simple but had everything you would want from a sushi restaurant. This place is not fancy but really delicious. If you happen to be in town try it out, you won't be disappointed. PS Try the demon sauce if you dare.

The passage of time... I had ample of which to reflect on the nature of mortality and the human condition while I was waiting for my sushi rolls. And as time's endless onslaught screams through the thunderous plains of consciousness the pyramids wither, mountains crumble, and man's creations come back to mother earth - from dust we come and to dust we will return. The food was taking forever! The service wasn't awesome either. I stared at my watch waiting for our waiter to look alive. But then I started wondering: what does it mean to be alive? Am I living or just passing the days? Should I have done more? My regrets mounted. Where did the time go? Did I miss my kids' childhood? First day of school? And for myself - Did I enjoy the life's journey - And what happens when this journey meets its end?!?!! Suddenly I got my finger stuck in my Arizona iced tea can. I was trying to feel around to get out the tab for my collections. The rolls were pretty good. Too much avocado. I took away a star because I wish the cans were bigger!

My new favorite sushi place in Boise for sure! The meals are a great size; with the miso soup and little coleslaw side salad, the rolls were the perfect size to share a few pieces it you wanted too. The green tea ice cream is delicious and the space is really light and fun to hang out in.

Wow this place is amazing!! The flavors are incredible! Quality is SUPERB. We tried the La Bomba roll, the Whale's Tale and the Demon's Delight roll. So yummy! Service was great. Be sure to take advantage of that day's happy hour (5pm-6pm). We did and lucky for us, it was 2 for 1 beer happy hour. Just an added bonus. We also tried their super extra spicy demon sauces. Pretty tasty.

a new downtown fave a rambling review....gigantic portions of fresh-tasting, typical and a few slightly atypical-content sushi rolls; a surprise of a tasty, crunchy side salad free accompaniment (you could make a healthy meal of just that with some protein thrown in for good measure); several different soy sauces; choice of chopstick type or forks; comfy tables and a few booths; order at the counter, get served by the friendly waitstaff; employees seem to enjoy what they're doing, judging by the helpfulness and cheerful attitudes; a budget-friendly lunch menu (but I somehow usually order rolls and seaweed salad, as I did this time); ah - the light 'n airy ambiance (extremely high ceilings, good-ions induced by natural light, 'right placement') make you want to linger, gossip in a non-mean way, laugh about inside jokes with your co-workers or with the chatty characters in the slogging novel you are composing in your head. I will need to try all kinds of sashimi, nigiri, specials, etc. But my first impression is 5 stars.

We are sitting here and wanted the all you can eat sushi... the waiter is rude and basically says you have to scarf it down because it cuts off at 8. Does not say that on the menu then he calls the place a hole in the wall and we only have one person making sushi tonight so I love the sushi here but I won't be back if I treated my clients like this I would be out of business very sad... try number two so much better, very fresh and the salad was perfect.. big rolls and made to perfection so I am definitely changing my tune and now will recommend this is a mix of two visits.

I'm super picky with my sushi and this is the BEST in the Treasure Valley!!! We ordered 4 different rolls one being "La Bamba Role"! Oh my gosh! And the nuclear roll was amazing as well! We love spicy! And they did an excellent job!!
