First time visit for lunch today and it was delicious!! I had the crispy whitefish taco on a corn tortilla “the Taco del Mar way” and my husband had the carnitas taco on a flour tortilla. We both thought our tacos were GREAT! The restaurant is super clean and the staff are wonderful. Looking forward to going again to have other tacos!

I don’t normally take the time to sit down and write reviews, but after my recent experience at Taco Del Mar, I feel like it’s important to give credit where credit is due. I had the pleasure of being helped by an employee named Micheal, and I have to say, he is an absolute gem of a person and a shining example of what great customer service should look like. From the moment I walked in, Micheal greeted me with genuine warmth and a big smile. It wasn’t the kind of forced, “I’m just doing my job” type of greeting—it felt real, like he truly cared that I was there. He was so personable and friendly, and it instantly set a positive tone for my entire visit. I noticed he wasn’t just this way with me; while I was waiting, I watched him interact with several other customers, and every single person received the same kindness and attention. You could tell he really enjoys talking with people and making them feel comfortable.

The employees this evening did not in the least bit seem interested in helping us in ordering our meals. It’s unfortunate when you go to a restaurant expecting service and get less than across the board. I’ve been here many times and have never experienced the lack of service and quality. My nachos did not get cheese. Unfortunate this is so close to my house and I’m not certain I will give it another shot.

Anytime a burrito place doesn't have carne asada that's a huge red flag for me food is good they didn't have carne asada so I had to go with the ground beef customer service was great if you're in the mood for white people Mexican food this is a spot if you want something authentic you're going to need to move on Los betos at least
This is a great little place to get lunch. They seem to have quite a few regulars. The food is good and plentiful. My son got a burrito that was dos manos, and completely filled him up. I had the burrito bowl. Sour cream and guac is extra, but a good portion, and worth it, I think. The only drawback is that there is only 1 booth. The rest are tables and chairs, but very close to the ordering line. We managed to snag the booth.

I went in there and waited for 20 minutes for 4 fish tacos. I watched the short blonde lady finish 2 people’s orders before mine then continue to talk to other customers for 10 minutes before getting to mine. Then I got my tacos and they were cold. I went back in right after getting them and was hoping to get new ones but she just gave us warm tortillas to switch out the cold ones we had. She said “do you want me to switch them out or do you wanna do it yourselves?” Not a good experience from the past times I’ve came here.

Had the Chicken Burrito Bowl with extra Guacamole. It was delicious and very filling - ate 1/2 and had the second 1/2 for lunch the next day. Person working behind the counter was very pleasant.
