Authentic food, tamales were just like we make them at home. Thin masa not thick with meat. Tacos were good too, recommend.

Not sure what everyone is ranting and raving about. Beans had no flavor, rice was not great at all. First time at this place and had to try it because of the reviews. I ordered tacos and my first bite of my first taco it had the lady's hair in it. Even more disgusting that her hair looked nappy as it was. I took the plate back and she asked if I wanted her to exchange my tacos. I answered with no thank you I would like my money back and she proceeded to ask me if I was sure. I finally told her that I was grosed out and to give me my money back. The two ladies there were giggling about it and were talking smack about the whole situation like excuse me I am fluent in Spanish. So instead of dumping the food they I returned they put it away and saved it. GROSS ? ? ?

This is my second time visiting here while in town. The first time it was pretty good. This time I wasn't too happy with what I got. I got tamales and they were very Bland with little flavor. Same for the rice, I feel that I can make better at home. The beans were good. The prices were decent. I don't think I would come back again though after what I got this time. The tamales were kind of slimy and just didn't taste very good overall. This is a super cute little shopping area with lots of food options. The area feels very safe.

I preordered pork and chicken tamales for Christmas Eve dinner. I went to pick them up and they were hot and ready. The gals were so friendly and accommodating. My family raved about these tamales. Especially the pork. One even said they were the best he'd ever eaten. I will agree. They had a good amount of meat and the masa was not dry. The green sauce was delicious. I will be ordering these tamales again and would like to try the chile rellenos as well. Thank you Ladies for making my Christmas Eve Dinner a hit. Throw some business their way. You won't regret it.

Had lunch there. The place wasn't busy, but it took a really long time to get our food. My mother had the Chile Relleno, which was stone cold. My Burrito was screaming hot, but my rice was crunchy. The tortilla was fantastic though. First time there, probably won't go back.
Tamales werevery good and clearly made by hand and fresh. However the tacos were the star, easily the best in the Boise area. Meat was extremely flavorful and seasoned well.

I had the chile rellano with beans & rice, and a cheese & jalapeño tamale. It was all so good!

Save your time and skip this place. I've had better burritos from a freezer at a gas station.

Very flavorful , fresh authentic tamales that are made hot & fresh! They sell them in the Chow market place by Edwards theatre. Love the pork and jalapeño & cheese tamales! They also have plates to order with rice and beans if you choose that for as well. And they also sell in the farmers market in Boise but sell out every time cause they are delish! Try some today!
