I had the Ribeye the other night and it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had!!! (That says a lot because I’m old and picky, lol.) It was full of flavor and cooked perfectly—super glad I ordered it. Great job guys!
We’ve been loyal customers of Tavern in Bown Crossing for a long time, but after tonight’s experience, we won’t be returning. We were seated in the bar area in open seating and had already placed our drink and food order when an older group of four walked in and, apparently, knew the hostess. Without warning, the hostess rudely asked us to leave the table we were already occupying to make room for this group. Her tone was dismissive, and there was no apology or attempt to accommodate us elsewhere—it was simply, “You need to get up.” This treatment was not only humiliating but also completely unacceptable. To add insult to injury, no effort was made to resolve the situation or offer us another table. As regular patrons, we expected better, but instead, we were made to feel like our business was disposable. If favoritism is how this establishment treats its paying customers, we’ll be taking our business elsewhere. Unprofessional, disrespectful, and absolutely not worth the hassle.
Don’t come here for lunch, food subpar compared to dinner.

The location of the restaurant is in an area we have not been. A very nice location and other places nearby too. Recommended to my daughter a month or so ago just on a whim and she really liked it. Since in town, we wanted to give it a try. Seated promptly and our server was right on with getting our drink order and then out order. Food came out quick and boy we were impressed. Every bite was full of flavor and only wanted to eat without stopping. The icing on the cake was that they had mud pie for dessert. Great mud pie and made right with Oreo crust. I could have eaten two of them as it was so good. Will be back when in town again . If you have not been here go as I don't think you will be disappointed.

First time we've been here, couldn't decide what to get, so I ended up with a burger and a yam, they were yummy, look forward to next time.
Parking: We found a spot out fromt, I was surprised. And I'm not sure if there is parking in the back, since it gets dark a 7ish we didn't check to see..

Didn’t appear to be busy but service was not good. The hostess was kinda snobby. We were standing there for several minutes before she acknowledged us. Was not even flexible with the seating. This is not a high end restaurant. Get over yourself.

We had a business there upstairs and the waitresses were very attentive and the beef dip I had was very good. No fly’s inside which a lot of restaurants have issues as fall approaches.
One of my favorite places to dine. Great food from the hamburger to sushi.

Stopped in for a leisure Sunday lunch with a buddy while in town. We sat outside (our choice), and our server was very attentive, efficient, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She was successful in getting my fried chicken sandwich perfectly sauced with a homemade hot sauce. It was spicy and so very delicious with the pickle slices, red onion, and shredded Iceberg lettuce. Next time I'm in town, I'll definitely stop in here and also check out their more fancy downtown location. Highly recommended!
Kid-friendliness: Looks to be a great place to include kids at anywhere except at the bar (of course).
