Restaurant is very loud and bright almost cafeteria-ish, that with the pasta being overly chew, wasn’t a great experience. The drinks were decent and our server was great.

Visited Tavolata last night. Tried many things - burrata, bruschetta, foccacia, meatballs, Tavolata salad. Everything was delicious. Cocktails & house wine were also amazing. Really enjoyed it. Happy hour is an excellent value - we will be back soon!

Portions were small and not the best. Service was good. Drinks were decent.
Originally, they turned us away when we originally asked for a table. A few minutes later, while we were standing outside, one of the females in our group noticed the patio was empty so she went back in to see if we could be seated there. They told her they had a table inside. Kind of weird.
Either way, won't be back any time soon.

Absolutely spoiled in service and food. Tavolata is a must dine-at-restaurant in the Boise Downtown area.

Our first visit to Tavolàta Boise on October 12 was fantastic! My grandma, mom, wife, and I were all impressed. The restaurant has a fun, modern vibe, and it was packed all evening, so we’re glad we made a reservation. The food was absolutely incredible—every dish we tried was a winner! The Brussels sprouts were next-level, the Rigatoni was awesome, the New York steak was cooked to perfection, and the Pappardelle was great. The Butternut Squash Strozzapretti was a delightful surprise! We were disappointed there was no tiramisu available, but everything else made up for it. Our waitress, Isabel, was amazing—so kind and attentive! The only downside was the noise level, with the open space, hard floors, and furniture making it tough to hear each other. Next time, we’ll try to sit outside where it’s quieter, but we’d definitely come back. 5 stars!

Service was poor. Never refilled our drinks, never came by to ask how food was. Very loud in the restaurant. Focaccia bread was great but main dishes were ok, nothing special or delicious. We ordered the spaghetti and meatballs, the meatballs tasted like a hot dog. We ordered the potato gnocchi with lamb, it did not taste good to me. I couldn’t eat it and the server never came by nor did we see her so my husband switched with me and I ate his meal. He got another pasta dish that was ok. Good enough to eat but not enough to brag about. We were excited about trying this place out but we won’t be back.

Service was stellar, food was fantastic. Maybe a little on the loud side but that is down to the open design and not the fault of any staff. Some dividers on the backs of the benches would go a long way in helping this. My wife and I will definitely be back to try some more dishes!

The food was great! The focaccia was so light and fluffy yet crispy, absolutely phenomenal. Our server Shaq was absolutely wonderful. He checked in with us multiple times, made sure our orders were in before happy hour ended and was incredibly friendly. This was my favorite dinner we had during our visit to Boise.

What a neat place. Didn't realize they served brunch until we looked online. Great menu and great service. Really cool atmosphere. Enjoyed biscuits and gravy and eggs Benedict. Extea special flavors on both. You won't be disappointed.

My string of getting sub-par Caesar salads was broken here. It may seem trivial but getting a really good, traditional Cesar salad is a real pleasure. The portions were really sizable which is nice in fine dining with excellent food. Had a large portion of spaghetti to take home because we assumed we'd need several appetizers to be full. Enjoyed having the appetizers anyway though. They were very good. Drinks were delicious, staff was super friendly. Looking forward to coming back. The only knock was the open design made it a little loud/echoey. I prefer Italian in a more quiet setting. But, a small price to pay for a great dining experience otherwise.

Nice little place, very good food. We had 2 pasta dishes n bread for happy hour. Bourbon sour, hazy IPA, French 75, all were great. We will be going back.
Wheelchair accessibility: Good accessibility, parking across the street.

Bread was good. Everything else was not. The carbonara tasted like bland buttered noodles.
