Terrible food, ordered a simple burger with Beyond pattie , the buns were cold , beyond pattie was cold in the middle likely they made it and didn't let it properly cook from freezer , simple tomato and lettuce were placed and that's it.

If you only choose Marriot properties like I do (Platinum Elite) then this hotel is probably the 2nd best option in Boise with the top spot going to the newer Residence Inn that's right Downtown. This Courtyard is only a couple of blocks from the beautiful river and its awesome miles long walkways. There's also a large park across the street and the University is a ten minute walk away. My wife and I went for a late night stroll along the river and that's one of the reasons I love Boise: it felt completely safe even though it was close to Midnight! In the morning we strolled along the river again and then to the awesome little Downton, it's probably no more than 15 minutes to Downtown proper if you take the most direct route (by foot I mean, it would be a two minute drive!). The hotel itself is older but appears to be recently renovated. We were fortunate enough to have a two room king suite that was actually two connecting rooms. One with a comfortable king bed and its own bathroom, the other with a living room and another bathroom. The suite was odd in that there was a large area that was clearly meant for a kitchenette complete with kitchen cupboards but it only had a small fridge. The room was nice enough but we had to keep the curtains closed as it was ground floor and literally the parking lot was directly by our windows with cars just a few feet away. That being said, we probably only got that floor because we asked for an upgrade and showed up at 10pm. As would be expected, there is a beautiful courtyard with a ton of nice seating options. We noticed all of the rooms facing the courtyard had either balconies or patios and next time I'd forego a suite in favour of one of these rooms. The only fail as this hotel was the Bistro. As a Platinum member you get $10 food credit per night per person for up to two people so we had $20 to spend. The breakfast options were extremely limited and although not crazy expensive by 4 star standards, very pricey for an order at the counter kind of place. Almost nothing sounded appetizing but my "loaded tater Tots" (they were covered in bacon and cheese) were decent. My wife's toasted bagel came still cold and wasn't much better after it came out of the kitchen a second time, it also didn't come with the cream cheese on it but instead came with a packet with a plastic knife to spread it. Weirdly, my breakfast came with real cutlery. I'd stay here again for the excellent location but would skip the Bistro next time.

Everything about the stay was great. We were in Boise for a family event, and about 20 of us stayed at this hotel. They were very accommodating of our group in every way. The hotel is new and in great shape, and the service was excellent. I wish I could remember the names of everyone that helped us, unfortunately I wrote them down but lost the sheet. Haley checked us in and helped us the whole weekend, including with some billing issues afterward. She was amazing and very accommodating. The other front desk clerk, as well as the manager both nights (June 22 and 23rd) went out of the way to meet our group's every need. Also, the bistro workers both nights of the 22nd and 23rd were amazing. The facilities are clean, the service excellent, and it was the perfect stay. I would highly recommend this hotel and it will be my go to when we return to Boise

Still a lot of renovations in lobby going on, but not an inconvenience. Staff was very polite and friendly. Employees working at bistro were very nice and accommodating as well. I was a little surprised that they still aren’t doing room service but that seems very dependent on the area you are traveling in.

Stayed at this hotel with the expectation that it would be a satisfactory stay despite the fact that we knew there’d be some construction. Noise was not a factor but the room itself was really cramped, really tired & overall uncomfortable. Actually thought about going to another hotel but powered through as we drove for hours before we arrived & just wanted to chill. We are titanium members & thought about making a fuss especially after we were told there were no upgrades available. Breakfast was mediocre, temporarily relocated to a meeting room due to construction. Will always read the reviews from now on before we book with Marriott.

Medium sized hotel, located at the edge of the downtown area. Free parking, nice courtyard with garden. Very good fitness center, only a wall clock was missing. We had a large room but to the street which was kind of noisy. You better take a room to the inner courtyard. No room safe but fridge and coffee maker. Breakfast in The Bistro, no buffet but prepackaged and heated items. All in all a good hotel but a bit overpriced.

Our room on the top floor was comfortable and a nice size. The location was terrific. There was a park nearby to walk, sit, people watch, picnic and more. There were fast food restaurants, a Walgreens and a Whole Foods. Enjoyed our one night stay. The breakfast had good options for most eating habits. We also purchased a salad for the dinner when we arrived and ate some left over pizza on the outdoor patio. Nice.

Staff greeted me as a valued guest, the room were clean, bathroom spotless and the location is within walking distance for any restaurants. My only complaint is that I did not have an extra pillow as requested, but all in all it was a quiet and relaxing stay.

Stayed at Courtyard for three nights. Mediocre room that was overpriced at a little over $200 a night. The room only had two chairs - one was a modern style with an uncomfortable very straight back without padding, second chair was slightly better desk chair. Needless to say it was more comfortable to just sit on the beds. Then, the refrigerator had a timer that only kept the cold on for two hours before needing resetting. Needless to say don't expect anything in the fridge to be cold when you get back to the room or in the morning. The hotel also only provided one, very, very small bar of soap. The shower had the hand pump soap and shampoo. Definitely not what I expect for $200 a night. Finally, for daily service of the room you must call the front desk and request it the night before. I know things have changed due to the pandemic, but I would much prefer the "opt out" method rather than "opt in." And, your perk for not have the room service is 250 Marriott points. The good news is the hotel staff were all professional, friendly and did there very best to help guests. The issues I have are obviously not their doing but rather stem from Marriott corporate.
