I've been coming here since the 90s and it has barely changed. Prices may be the only thing (up! As you'd expect). I suppose I shouldn't complain since they were so affordable back in the day. The booths and diner counter all look and feel the same, very retro, very diner. A Boise staple. Kind sweet waitress knew how to handle a tired and unresponsive crew like the 4 of us.

Solid breakfast but being a biscuit and gravy connoisseur, I have to only grade as average

We went in on Sunday afternoon for brunch, we set for 15 minutes before our order was taken we then waited 30 minutes and noticed the people who had been seated long after us were already eating. When I questioned management they had completely forgotten to enter our order. A lady that went by the name of peaches took our order and did very little else! Overall, a very bad experience!!!!!

Kitschy diner with super attentive staff, good food and throw back vibe that is actually authentic and not some designers idea!

Great food and great service. The atmosphere is cute and feels like you're sitting in the middle of a sitcom.

The perfect diner with great food! I don't think the interior has changed in 50 years. The service is always good and parking is not a problem.

You don’t need a full order of them loaded biscuits and gravy. But you do need some of them loaded biscuits and gravy in your belly.

A True Boise Gem: The Capri Restaurant

Saturday morning with four friends turned into a delightful reunion when we ran into two more friends at The Capri.

It’s the kind of place where that just happens, a testament to its status as a true Boise institution. This hidden gem on Fairview is a must-visit, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a classic, delicious breakfast or lunch.

Our experience was fantastic from start to finish. Our server was wonderful, attentive, and handled our growing party with grace.

The food was absolutely fantastic; a perfect example of home-style cooking done right. Every dish was full of flavor, and the portions were generous, exactly what you want from a classic diner.

Beyond the delicious food and excellent service, part of what makes The Capri so special is its welcoming atmosphere and traditional feel.

It's a place that feels like it's been a part of the community forever, with a sense of history that's evident the moment you walk in.

The restaurant even has a connection to another local icon, with the two businesses often co-branded and even opening a joint location in Meridian. The Capri is also the proud home of Rudy the Rooster, a beloved Boise icon.

If you're looking for a taste of old-school Boise with a welcoming atmosphere, fantastic food, and a bit of local charm, The Capri is the place to go. It’s a hidden gem that feels like a warm hug, and it's a place you'll want to return to again and again.
