Classic diner where the Locals eat. Ice cream from local dairy. Booths and counter service. Waitresses who have been there for years. Yummy food. If you're looking for some nostalgia, must go!

Middle of the road all around...
Pros - Fast phone order, easy parking, fair price and good packaging and food hot.
.
Cons - I ordered a sandwich to-go, and had to walk to the end of the bar and disturb a patron to sign my credit card bill. Not sure why they didn't just ring me up at the register, where there was actually space for the transaction. Sandwich was half empty and sloppily made, falling apart.
.
Meh - Food tasted fine, but not outstanding and employees did their job, but not overly friendly.
.
Conclusion - Would I return? Yeah, I guess maybe if I was in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way.

Nice enough restaurant, breakfast options are good and priced pretty well. Cowboy potatoes are good and heat up well if you have leftovers. Last time we went our server had on a hat with a political logo emblazoned all over it. We were a little surprised that the management were ok with staff wearing any kind of political attite. Our part immigrant family didn't really want to be greeted by bigotry with our bacon so we likely won't visit again.

Great comfort style diner food, made quickly, with an old school diner vibe. The service was great and quick and the food was good.

What can I say. IMO,this is one of the top breakfast restaurants. The food never disappoints. Service is personal. Retro old school menu with items you just don't see in other places. So come early, enjoy your food and eat well. However, that being said, expect a wait in line especially on the weekends. It's first come first serve seating.

Great breakfast spot where the staff the most lovable and experienced in the city! It’s a traditional home town place with several special menu items. The special pancake is a fun option. And the coffee flows till you can’t take anymore!!

I love the Capri. It has great breakfasts and reminds me of what Boise used to be like.

One of the oldest diners in Boise. Staff are pleasant. The young woman who is the busser, works very hard and is friendly with a constant smile.
My complaint; over-easy eggs were too hard.

Me and my coworkers meet up here once a week for breakfast. The staff is incredible. Food comes out so fast it blows your mind. Your coffee cup is never half empty. Good old fashioned diner that everyone loves. I didn't want to leave a review because it's one of the best kept secrets in Boise. But I want them to be successful too. I am looking forward to having the pancakes with the sliced bananas on top next week 😉

I've been coming here since the 90s and it has barely changed. Prices may be the only thing (up! As you'd expect). I suppose I shouldn't complain since they were so affordable back in the day. The booths and diner counter all look and feel the same, very retro, very diner. A Boise staple. Kind sweet waitress knew how to handle a tired and unresponsive crew like the 4 of us.

Solid breakfast but being a biscuit and gravy connoisseur, I have to only grade as average

We went in on Sunday afternoon for brunch, we set for 15 minutes before our order was taken we then waited 30 minutes and noticed the people who had been seated long after us were already eating. When I questioned management they had completely forgotten to enter our order. A lady that went by the name of peaches took our order and did very little else! Overall, a very bad experience!!!!!

Kitschy diner with super attentive staff, good food and throw back vibe that is actually authentic and not some designers idea!
