Just went to Gyro Shack on overland. Pulled up at 8:50 which they close at 9pm. Mr. Ashton (employee of two years) decides to tell me that the grille has been off for 30 mins and it will take 15-20 mins to cook my food. Normally I would leave but if the grille has been off for 30 mins why are they closing at 8:20 and leaving open sign on til 9pm telling customers the grille is off. So now Im pissed. I decide to say sure I’ll wait the 15-20 mins. My receipt says 8:53 at the point when I pay. At 8:59 I am handed this bag of food. My chicken Gyro has been microwaved in water and is still raw. What a great employee to have for two years Mr. Ashton is!

Great service, very professional, polite, and accommodating. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because they missed a request in my order, but I was able to pick it off without issue. So that was the only thing, everything else was good!
Dietary restrictions: Make sure that they take off what you asked for. I asked for no onion and no bacon. They followed the onion but added the bacon. It was easy to pick off, but if you're allergic just double check.

Today, Just visited 25 minutes before closing. For a quick bite. Went to drive through no one answered, tried the door and the team told me to leave. There had been waiting in the drive thru before us we went up and talked to him he was waiting there in the drive thru for 15 minutes. The staff had cleaned up and closed shop. Would advise people to watch out when visiting here late. Looks like the staff close up early and will turn people away.

Super disappointed in that place honestly I wish I didn't speak Spanish. It probably would have make being intentionally ignored a lot less hurtful. I don't think I've ever felt so disrespected at a restaurant establishment I definitely won't be going back there again.
Been going here a while now as it's close to me so an ideal dinner place. Unfortunately the last 2 experiences I've had here have been less than desirable to put it modestly. Experience 1: ordered a crispy chicken gyro. Got grilled chicken and was like slop wrapped up in bread. I think, maybe just a busy night, try again another time. Today, experience 2: i ordered again another crispy chicken. Got home with gyro meat and the grilled onions i paid extra for still fresh and not cooked at all. Furthermore I went in to get it replaced this time with the correct items, but it's just made poorly. Some items still cold and just thrown together in a quick manner, I've honestly lost my appetite from this and now its a $12 gyro I have to force myself to eat so as to not waste my momey. Other reviewers have commented on the poor atmosphere and I have to agree. I too have seen them "closed and locked up" before they were actually closed (chairs flipped, doors actually locked during business hours). This place was decent just a few months ago but it's steadily getting worse and upper management needs to intervene. At this point it's just getting sad and embarrassing. I will not be spending another penny here.

The food was great. Salad was very fresh and served quickly. I recommend the chicken baked ranch pita made into a salad (yes, they do that!).
