So up scale chill vibes. We celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary there. Delicious dinner and amazing drinks. Rum old fashioned (chefs kiss).
Thank you for a cool spot. Right next to the hotel.

Atmosphere looked lively and good but I can’t properly rate the food because we never got in even after waiting for an hour on the staircase.
Showed up for a BNN pregame event, but we were not allowed access due to supposedly over-capacity, even though VIPs were waved through.
It is my recommendation to NOT attend this location on Boise State football game days or nights. Otherwise, I hear it can be good.
At this establishment, it’s all about who you know, or if you’re a VIP….otherwise you’ll be bypassed in the wait line like we were. The host/manager kept waving people through that he recognized apparently. Oddly haphazard.
Over a dozen of us were waiting, but eventually left in frustration, and I heard them all express disappointment in how event was set up and how select people were let in.
Foolishly, we attempted to participate in the bronco nation news rooftop event on another game night and again experienced the exact same thing. Haven’t been back since.
Sour grapes? Maybe.
But there are certainly plenty of other places to get a pregame meal and adult beverage that can better accommodate.
Manager quizzed me like I needed to answer special questions to be there. The fish over cooked to RUBBER. A tiny portion of coleslaw and a huge portion of french fries to over compensate the small amount of rubber fish. At 19.95 each I say DONT! The only reason there is 2 stars is for the really nice guy behind the counter.

Great local spot. Too hot this time of year but ideal in cooler weather. Great service, loved the Caesar salad. Worth a visit!

Patio is very hot in the evening this time of year. Invest in some misters or retractable shade. The umbrellas aren’t working. After ordering our food we waited 40+ minutes and finally had to ask about it, then it took another 20 minutes. The server blamed the kitchen because they were slammed. The place had like 6 tables. Not slammed. She had obviously forgot about us. Burger was good. Sweet potato fries were soggy and gross. All we got was a feeble apology from the server. Doubt we’re coming back.

When my wife and I first walked in, the woman at the bar was super friendly and welcoming, which set a great tone. After she left, a new bartender, a blonde with long hair, took over. She wasn’t quite as warm, but still did her job. We hadn’t been in for over a year and were thinking about making this a regular spot. The old fashions were amazing—seriously top-notch! The food was just okay, though. When it was time to pay, the card machine was placed on the table without a total, and our card was processed pretty quickly without much interaction. I didn’t really get the sense they were excited to have us there, but maybe that’s just me. If you're looking for a great old fashion, this place is definitely worth it, but for a more welcoming vibe, it might not be the best spot.

Interesting place. We didn't care for the several cocktails we tried. The server was kind and accommodating. It's difficult to hear in there so the server didn't quite get the order correct. My entree was delayed for about 15 minutes from the rest of my party. The burgers were good and we would recommend the deviled eggs.

Great babe medium place for drinks and food. The appetizers were on point. Main dishes were good but could use a bit more love.

Went there as a group of ten with a bunch of co workers. Everyone ordered something different from sandwiches, poke bowls and pizza. I ordered a Bon Mi sandwich which was good, nothing mind blowing. The Poke bowl was incredible. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food.
Unfortunately my friend ordered a pizza and the bottom was black. Not like charred in a good way. Straight black. The waitress was kind and removed the pizza from the bill, though I think a some sort of gift card was in order. My friend had one slice and by the time the waitress came back around we had all finished our food and it was time to go. Kinda a bummer for my friend.

Had the street tacos with cod. The tacos were good. I've had better fish tacos. It was served with rice and beans and corn. The rice was flavorless and mushy. The corn and beans were refrigerator cold. Disappointed.

Ok this is a tough one. I wanted to love this place. Sadly it didn’t deliver as I hoped it would.
The good: Our server was awesome. Didn’t catch her name but she was very personable. Attentive. Conversational. The atmosphere was very nice too. It’s upstairs. Comfortable spot with classic decor. We had the meatballs for an appetizer and they were the highlight of the meal. The marinara sauce was perfectly tangy and tasted fresh….not sure if it is or not but it’s really tasty. The fries here are also very strong. A little thicker….just the right crisp on the outside with a soft inside. Hot too….they hadn’t just been sitting around under hot lights.
The meh: the James burger didn’t deliver. Very juicy….but nothing special about it at all. If anything, it was really salty. There was also not a great bun to meat ratio.
The French dip was the lowlight. I love French dips…but this one lacked flavor and the meat was very gristly. It looked like it had horseradish but it had no kick to it at all. Certainly wouldn’t order this again.
Hated to not love it here….

They have some pretty good food here. Their hamburger buns hold up pretty good. Their drinks are very good and price point they are better than most other bars. The service is very good and they make you feel welcomed. It get a bit loud here in game day but that’s to be expected.
