Such a beautiful resturant. My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here tonight and not only was the food amazing and so fresh. Our server, Quentin C was very kind and offered lots of great advice. A must try on the menu is the coffee and donuts dessert. We traveled to France last summer and I will say this crème brûlée was outstanding.

We worked with Missy and The Lively's Bar Gibbon to host our wedding reception. Missy did extremely well making sure the evening went smoothly and we were aware of every detail. The ambiance inside Bar Gibbon is amazing and both the food and service was all top notch. The cocktails were all delicious, especially the fan favorite East Side. Overall it is an absolutely beautiful place to dine at and we would definitely work with Missy and the Lively again for another party.

👍👍👍👍👍i was impressed just beautiful place and quite expensive our first time to the Lively for our anniversary 💕 everything was phenomenal except the parking next door $4.50 an hour but it was the place be..........my wife and I can't wait to go to The Lively again I had heard there is a Michelin chef here maybe the only one in Boise........ its funny I didn't think people dressed up to go out in Boise at the Lively everyone dresses a little upper scale then other places but I don't know if there is a dress code....all I see is T shirts and shorts in most other places what a change..........But a fantastic place to be you can't beat the food and service here...........food is in very small portions so don't come hungry.........👍.......................please follow to find more adventures though Boise...........

Refusal to honor a gift card that has NO expiration date on it is easily not ok. If a person can clearly choose the charges were placed on their account but you refuse to accept the gift card citing expiry, what did you do with the money?

Don’t listen to the negative reviews this place rocks!! Ambiance is probably nicest in Boise and prices are reasonable for the quality you get

I had the Oven Roasted Black Cod entree this week. Fabulous! The char on the fish was the perfect mix with miso sauce and the fish was cooked just perfectly.

Disappointing food and hovering service. On the food side they were just trying too hard - too many flavors and garnishes. The wait staff was ever present and interrupted the flow of conversation. My spouses cheesecake was burnt on the bottom and sides. I thought it was a chocolate crust. Who serves something like that? The staff who brought out the desserts listed the entire name “blah blah cheesecake and key lime pie with coconut ice cream and blah blah blah” Honestly, how about “which one of you ordered the cheesecake.” Probably just doing what they were told. It was so disappointing. No value for the high prices.

All the fanfare and expense of a fancy restaurant without the good food. Food was unbearably over salted, almost inedible, and the flavors were imbalanced. The meat was perfectly cooked, though. Desert tasted like cardboard. It took a while to get served, and took over an hour between seating and receiving the main course. Once your mediocre food arrives, the staff is overly-attentive. We did the Taste of Downtown Prix-Fixe, but went there a couple years ago for a group dinner and felt the same way about it back then.
