I grew up in boise and visit 4-5 times a year from NC. I’ve been wanting to try this place since last summer, as for a family it’s perfect. Everybody can get what they want. Finally made it tonight. I wish we hadn’t. I did note that the place wasn’t busy. Should’ve read the room on that. Instead we went to four of the restaurants. None of them were good. One was mediocre. Two were just bad. Pizza was so greasy and limp you couldn’t pick it up. Dough had no chew to it at all—just bread really. And so soggy. My kid who loves pizza didn’t eat it. Boi bao was overpriced and unimpressive. Steam bun was good. Tofu was good. Pickled daikon was off for sure. Plain, dry shredded cabbage wasn’t a welcome addition on the side. Just meh meh. And I ordered $5 small bowl of edamame to go with: see above) which came so late (20 mins after other stuff) that they threw in some raw Kim chi bites that were garbage. Totally raw. Inedible. And the edamame was raw. Hard little nuts inside those pods. Like, seriously??? Went to the poke place. Kid wanted it with cooked chicken. It was fine but like not really anything, so way overpriced. It’s a small salad bar salad (half rice) for $17. Crazy. Wok n roll also bad. At least it was only $14, but the “golden” tofu was white with no crust because they didn’t cook it long enough, vegetables were over cooked. No crunch. And then it was half rice. Rip off. Bad food. Half thrown out. I just spent almost 85 (with tips and tax) and it wasn’t as good as, I imagine, a friggin lean cuisine or whatever. So, so disappointing. Boise has some great eats. Go to them. Not this place. On a positive note, that place is sparkling clean. Every inch of it. Even the bathrooms. Not to hard to do given how empty it is, I guess.
My sister and I ate at Bao Boi. We had their version of a taco. It was good and reasonably priced. The beer was over priced. It was $7.00 and came in a can. Then served in a warm glass. To many good breweries in town to get a cold beer. We won’t be back.
Freshies is amazing! The lobster is always fresh and cooked perfectly.
Friendly, sports and good beer selection. Order up dinner and hang.
My family and I have been to the warehouse several times now and we really enjoy the variety of food and open space, we have tried the bbq Tim’s has the best brisket nachos and bbq platters, my kids love the pizza and fried chicken and waffles, the mixed drinks from the bar have been good, and the atmosphere is open and inviting.
Good beer selection, but… it’s all canned, and there are no posted prices. $6 for a can of beer? Ouch. I won’t fall for that again.
I was so excited to try this place, I've been reading a bit about it in some local publications and finally we had the opportunity. There were four of us in our party. When we walked in it had a cool vibe and we were excited to check it out. Grabbed a drink from the Ropes Bar in the middle and walked around. The food was good. The drinks on the other hand were a different story. Our first glasses of wine had some sediment in the bottom (it looked like sticks/twigs were in the bottom of our glasses and the sediment was hard like a stick) of the glasses but the wine tasted good and some wines have sediment. Second glass got worse, when I was drinking the last of mine there was so much of this hard twiggy sediment that I couldn't swallow it and had to spit it back in the glass. The sediment was so much and so large that I feel I could have damaged my throat if I would have swallowed it. We talked to the bartender about it and he could have cared less so we asked to speak to a manager. The manager, who stated that he was also the owner of The Warehouse, came to ask what the issue was. After explaining to him what was in the glass he asked what we wanted done. I told him I would like my money back for that glass of wine. He stated there was no way he would give me a refund and said he would only give me a "little more wine" and nothing else. He also stated that wine has sediment in it and treated me like I was clueless. I'm so disappointed in the customer service of this manager/owner and how we were treated that we will never go back. I grew up in this area and love downtown Boise but this place is not what I would ever expect from a Boise area business. How hard is it to treat a customer like they matter. We support local businesses but we will not be supporting this facility in the future.
It was amazing! Highly recommended!
Great atmosphere and great food options. I especially loved wok and roll! 5 out of 5 stars.
My wife and I had the chance to visit Neighbor Tim's BBQ at The Warehouse during a visit to Boise earlier this year, and it was out of this world! I enjoyed some fresh brisket and it might've been the best I've ever had. Delicious. I also paired it with a cold beer from The Loading Dock right next to Neighbor Tim's. I passed on the added shot of whiskey, but the next time I plan on tearing up the city, I will be sure to partake.

A food hall should bring the community together. A place where everyone is safe to experience different foods, cultures, backgrounds that are free from hate. However, that was not the experience. During our time a confederate flag concert was screened for the entire hall. This is far from bringing the community together. Do better. I will not be returning unless this is throughly addressed
Nice concept, but the food outlets are way overpriced. It wasn't that busy, especially considering it recently opened and you'd think there would be a lot of initial interest. So, perhaps others are feeling the same way after their initial look-see. I found the only decent value meal was pizza by the slice at Anzalone. I am not a cheapskate. I just want to feel that I'm not overpaying for what I purchase, especially if they are trying to attract locals for repeat business. My guests purchased food from the Wok place. Very expensive and they thought the food was average at best. The bakery seemed disorganized, with no menu visible to check out their offerings. Hopefully the vendors can make a go of it.
Great beer bar in a very convenient location downtown. With so many food options right around it this is a great place to drop in with a group for a happy hour. Wish they had beer on tap though.
