Great dining experience, as always. Absolutely outstanding service. Menu has changed a little since we were last there, but all for the best.

Our server was not good. He rarely checked on the table when he wasn't bringing food. We had to ask for every drink refill, including water. It was not busy, yet there were long periods of waiting between the three courses. At the end, when he brought the check before offering if needed anything else, and I signed on the electronic machine, and marked no tip, as I was planning to leave cash- he then brought back a paper copy of the receipt, claiming my signature ‘didn't work'. Please explain that to me. We come for my daughter's birthday most years, and by far the worst service experience. Probably time to find a new birthday tradition.

We have enjoyed spending special occasions at Melting Pots all over the country. The Boise location is very unique being inside the historic Fire Station, which still includes the “pole”, used by fire fighters to access the trucks from the second floor. The service has been second to none, with staff giving full attention to details. Gracie took great care of us as we celebrated 34 years of marriage. We were also impressed with the attention and friendliness of the manager (Jason). The 4 course meal was extremely tasty and the variety of food choices is amazing. All in all I would recommend the Boise Melting Pot for a wonderful night out, special occasion or not.

We have had great experiences here in the past, but this visit was far from that. 40 minutes after being seated we had not received our drinks, nor was there any effort to provide service to us. Sadly we probably won't return.

One of our party is celiac and Melting Pot is always great for that—very attentive with good options. Thank you!

Below meh on nearly all accounts. 730pm Christmas Eve reservation. Had to wait until 8pm to be seated. Host staff were unfriendly and did not look up from the station to greet guests. The cheese fondues were tasty but the bread was average and the accoutrements comprised raw baby carrots, red bell peppers, broccoli and grapes that were not fresh. Borderline gross. The two salads we ordered were good and the mojito was excellent. The server also was excellent. But for the quality of food served and overly high prices, we will not return.

It's always a great experience dining at The Melting Pot—it has truly become part of our holiday tradition. This year, we chose to celebrate with a Christmas Eve dinner, and once again, everything was wonderful. The wait wasn't long, the food was excellent, and the service was outstanding. We're a family of six with all adult kids, and the staff made sure every request and dietary allergy was carefully accommodated. It was a relaxed, enjoyable evening and the perfect way to celebrate the holiday together.

Large group near table for two was a little annoying, but they left earlier than expected. Last half of the my walk was quiet.

It is a fun experience, however the price for the food you get to dip is a bit steep. I could have gotten a full steak and lobster tail with a glass of wine for the same price or cheaper at a classy restaurant and still enjoyed the company. Our waiter was wonderful and the food was very good. For the price, I would ask for more things to dip.

Our family has been to this location previously and thought that it was worth a repeat visit. Well unfortunately that was not the case. They had lots of staff just standing around not doing too much. They did not bring our salad course to the whole table. We were seated in the bar area which was fine however mid way through our meal one of the managers decided to mop the area in and behind the bar with some sort of bleach mixture so the strong odor of bleach lingered for sometime. Towards the back half of our main course the burner turned itself off and once we were finished it took nearly 15 minutes for the staff to clean out table. Needless to say for the prices they charge next time we are in town unfortunately Melting Pot won't be making the short list.

I was hesitant at first but I’m really glad we went here. We were warmly greeted upon arrival and taken to a table, the restaurant is very quiet and clean. They have multiple cheese fondue options for 2 people or up to a party of people starting around $30 dollars, that comes with vegetables and some other great dipping items. We ordered the potato fondue and it was absolutely delicious, they have multiple options for main course meals or deserts or a option that covers 4 courses, it is rather expensive coming in around $140 for 2 people but you get a decent amount of quality food, a salad and some amazing desert. Our server Malia was very helpful and aided us with kindness and respect and made the experience very personal and enjoyable! I recommend getting the white chocolate and milk chocolate ying yang it’s really sweet tops the whole dinner off. It’s a cute place to eat and have fun and socialize.
