Our family has been to this location previously and thought that it was worth a repeat visit. Well unfortunately that was not the case. They had lots of staff just standing around not doing too much. They did not bring our salad course to the whole table. We were seated in the bar area which was fine however mid way through our meal one of the managers decided to mop the area in and behind the bar with some sort of bleach mixture so the strong odor of bleach lingered for sometime. Towards the back half of our main course the burner turned itself off and once we were finished it took nearly 15 minutes for the staff to clean out table. Needless to say for the prices they charge next time we are in town unfortunately Melting Pot won't be making the short list.
Kimball was a great server, fondue was truly a fun experience. The shrimp and lobster were my favorites and the dessert Dubai Chocolate fondue was yummy! Will be back. Really cool vintage firehouse houses the restaurant. Awesome vibe!
My husband and I went for a birthday dinner. We had reservations. We were sat in a tiny booth right in the hall. We could hear all the servers talking in their area. Our salad greens were slimy. Our service was awful. Our cooking broth boiled dry because it took so long for our server to come back. We spent $250.00 for a very disappointing experience.
While we have been going to the Melting Pot for many years, this time was not great. I realize that they were busy, but I expect better for the price. Service was really lacking, and that is highly unusual compared to past experiences.
We are always remembered by the staff- taken excellent care of- food is phenomenal- our requests about Green Goddess and Ginger plum sauce & rescue spoon are always ahead of asking. We come away feeling very well fed & attended to but the noise level - dependent on party is sometimes offensive & also the ambience of the restaurant is lacking but always clean & well maintained. Just ordinary surroundings for the price of the meal. I would like to see some upgrades - we have been going there since it was privately owned. About 20 years at least.
We had a Business team meeting/celebration and this was the most amazing place!!! I would recommend for all future meetings when we are in the area.
Horrible experience. Waiter abandoned us after salad despite being one of 3 tables sat at the time in the restaurant. No water refills. My second drink took almost an hour to get to the table despite being a glass of wine and came with the check. Unprompted, waiter asked if we were ready to box up our dessert entree half way through our main entree. Confusing way to be treated when we sit down and immediately order hundreds of dollars of food and drink.
Such a fun and unique way to have a relaxed dinner. Never felt rushed to move on to the next step of the meal and got to enjoy every bit of food. Definitely coming back soon!
Yummy food for a decent price! Great price for a ton of food. The service and restaurant was great as well!
Wonderful service. The waiter was incredibly kind and fun and made my daughter's birthday a great celebration.

Kimball knocked it out of the park making sure our daughter had a wonderful birthday dinner. Fon was also very much appreciated for the nice comments made about hair colors and accessories. Service and nice conversation is why we keep coming back year after year. Oh, and the food is great too. 😀
The only thing negative that I should mention is that we paid for the Valentine's diamond experience and initially when they seated us the area was not prepared correctly for that experience.
However, they completely made up for it and the service was fantastic, the foot was amazing, and I would highly recommend anyone to go here. This was a wonderful experience with my husband and we will definitely send people here if they have a special date to plan. XOXO Thank you for making it our valentine's special.

Came for myself and my husbands wedding anniversary. Service was exceptional and atmosphere was calm. On the other hand the food was not as tasteful. I asked my server which cheese fondue they recommended for someone who didn't like sharp bold cheese. The one he recommended was exactly that, it was distasteful. Me and my husband didn't eat any of it and it was expensive. The duck and chicken tasted foul and rotten. The dessert was delicious though, I'm just disappointed in the rest of the experience and wish I had gotten to try a different fondue.
Delicious and fun. Our wait staff smelled of cigarettes tho.

We visited for Valentine’s Day and chose a package deal, but since it was our first time, we didn’t know what to expect. Unfortunately, we weren’t given the special menu that came with our package and only realized later that we should have had it.
Service was slow—about 10 minutes passed before anyone even brought water or took our drink orders, making us feel forgotten. While our server was friendly, they didn’t explain the meat course, how to cook it, or what to do, so we had to figure it out on our own. Water refills were also lacking—I only had mine refilled once in two hours, and my girlfriend’s wasn’t refilled until the very end when we had to visibly place her empty glass at the edge of the table.
When the check arrived, no one came back to process it, so we ended up paying online because we couldn’t find anyone.
The food was good, and I can see how the experience could be enjoyable under better circumstances. However, given the service issues and the overall frustration, I wish we had chosen a different place for a romantic evening.
