The Refuge Restaurant & Lounge

Went in and it was pretty full, tried to find a spot but no luck with many staff passing us and not offering help. Decided to leave but noticed a family of 4 got help and seated immediately.

Service was 5 stars but the food was very meh.

Just say NO to the Steak Fingers. I wanted to be adventurous and try an Idaho favorite but the meal was barely edible. The tots were fine but the meat was tough and over-cooked, like eating beef jerky with dipping sauce.

Its mostly bar food with a bar atmosphere. There seemed to be lots of regular patrons. It was good but not great. Good location if you're staying at the hotel.

We were staying at the nearby Springhill Suites and came here for lunch and dinner. The service was excellent and the food really good. Not haute cuisine but well done and a good understanding of how to put flavours together. We had four different dishes over the two visits and all were equally good. We would definitely visit again if in the area.

Servers are friendly and atmosphere is quiet enough for any gathering. Beers poured fair with little head, mixed drinks are appropriately stiff. Food is excellent. Best little joint on Parkcenter!

Sat outside gorgeous evening in Boise craft cocktails are superb started with a cup of seafood chowder it was phenomenal. Then went to the prime rib dip and sweet potato fries, which were equally as good had a glass of the local red blend wine with dinner. It was very nice. Katie is a wonderful server suggestions they're just the right time to ensure you have a wonderful experience.

Had dinner with two other people. Service was slow, other parties that were seated after us got their order before us. Waited over 30 minutes for the appetizer to arrive, and it came alongside the rest of our entrees. Had to remind server of missing items, and it took forever to get our waters refilled. Server seemed to not care. Food was ok. Prices are decent.

I had the reuben, it was delicious and nice and juicy, the best I have had in the valley, my girlfriend had the taco salad with shrimp, it was delicious too. The service was excellent and the atmosphere great. If you haven't been, I would recommend.
