Nice neighborhood bar that has plenty of specialized drinks done their way at a reasonable price. I have gone here a few times mainly just to unwind and it has never disappointed.

Great cocktails at the Royal. Distinct and sophisticated flavors. The Witching Hour is a favorite.They will even make a mocktail upon request. There is pool and a nice patio. Bartenders are knowledgeable and fast.

Worst service of any bar in Boise. I've been to many great bars in Boise where you are treated like a customer, this is not one of them! Bartenders are rude and pretentious to their customers spending money. Several other people I spoke to felt the same. Spend your money at Parilla across the street or Amsterdam Lounge for great expresso Martini and great service.

Beautiful place in the center of Hyde Park and the cocktails are delectable. I really don't like doing this but I want the owner to know that the (male) bartender needs to make people feel welcome and be engaging. His ability to mix a cocktail was first class but his bar-side manner was oddly cold as the ice cubes in the shaker. We will try it again in the hope that this was an off day for him but the other reviews note this issue too, so....

Great ambience. Delicious well priced drinks. We were there on a Tuesday and the poor bar tender was alone and slammed. He said it's not usually busy on Tuesday's but there was some local event that day. But I think he did a great job handling all those people and still putting care into each drink. Many of which require a lot of effort. He must have called for back up cause eventually someone else showed up to help him.

Our mixologist Halayna! was so personable and enjoyable. She made us feel welcome on our visit to Boise and helped us with great recommendations for dinner. There were four of us and she encouraged us to try several of the Royals special drinks. Loved them all! Great place we would love to visit again
