Place is great but has no consistent hours. 5 year old was crushed because there were 2 workers inside but they “just closed” (at 7:22 when the site says they’re open until til 8). Love this place but please post accurate hours!
Great flavors and options!! Also the prices are very reasonable, great post ride snack
Fun little place! Great service, but the owner needs to update the hours. They close at 7:30pm not 8.
Said they were supposed to be open but employee said she couldn’t help us because her boss told her to shut down early. What’s the purpose of the hours are whenever they want. Don’t waste your time goodies is open on the hours it says.
Called to see if they were open boss said yes we're open, show up just get told they just closed, this was 6:50 google says they close at 8 what the heck we just wanted snow cones man
Wide array of flavors and perfect for a hot day. Plus the shaved ice maintains it's form well.
Great little spot to relax and have a snow cone.
I have a lot to say about this place. First of all the appearance of the place is DISGUSTING, there is spilled snow cone everywhere and the bees are a HUGE problem (my son even got stung by one!!!). The snow cone it’s self was fine (except for the ants I found in my cone!), but the most disappointing thing about this place was the working environment of the employees. :( Save yourself some time and money and DON’T COME HERE!
Not Hawaiian Shave Ice. As a Native Hawaiian living in Idaho its upsetting to see my culture ignorantly appropriated by people who want to make money with concentrated syrups, 'snow cones' styrofoam cups, plastic spoons and calling things 'shaved ice' that are infact just snow cones in Idaho.Sure it's a nice spot to cool down but don't call it 'Hawaiian Shaved Ice' nowhere in Hawaii you would see a blue tiki shack covered in plastic grass with these items. We strongly believe in eco-friendly recyclable materials. And quality shaved ice. This severely misrepresents our culture and beliefs. We expected much better from Hyde park having lived in Boise for 20 years.
#1 . This is NOT Hawaiian shave ice!

#1 . This is NOT Hawaiian shave ice! #2. This is a snow cone served in a styrofoam cup( Hawaiians are very eco friendly and the best shave ice on the islands use compostable serving items). You would never find anything like this on the islands . #3 Being married into a Hawaiian family that I embrace the culture fully I am offended at the "about me" segment of the website . Using a Disney Demi God to appropriate from a culture with complete disregard to actually doing research of the culture blows my mind . ESPECIALLY in a hipster area like Hyde Park where people aren't typically like that. #4. Even the best shave ice in Boise doesn't include or try to call themselves Hawaiian to drum up business . conclusion , the tables were completely disgusting and for mediocre shaved ice there are tons of places to choose elsewhere that don't try to profit off of a culture when knowing nothing about who they are faking to be .
Though the person working was nice, she did not seem to understand basic food service hygiene. She used the same gloves to write on our cups, ring us up, and then touch the touch screen as she did to pack pack snow cones. Given that the touch screen was filthy and sticky and I touched it too, the amount of microbes living in the shaved ice has to be pretty high. The tables are also filthy. I won't come back here.
Very good job of shaving, and a good quantity of syrup. Relatively expensive for the size.
Limited flavors, smaller sizes for same price as others around town
Great little spot to relax and have a snow cone.
