Great venue for the punk, metal and alt crowd. Great for private events and social gatherings. I love this place because it has real character and is a hold out of underground music and everything that comes with it. I've seen too many amazing bands and musical artists to count here that have started underground and moved to highly recognizable statues in their genres. Bring your kids and buy some ear plugs, this place has a freedom of movement and doesn't treat you like you need to be restricted like so many places in our modern age. Be yourself, stretch your arms and mosh your heart out. Have fun and be yourself.
Best underground venue in Boise. If you're into underground music, you've come to the right place. I've seen everyrhing there, from Brett Amaker to Macabre.
Buy merch! Buy merch! Buy merch!
This is the underground. The owner has placed emphasis on it remaining a place where bands without a mainstream presence and need of underground audience can gather and celebrate hard-core, metal and punk of all types. It's exactly what Boise needs as a fast growing city.
It's just a grungy little metal venue? Nothing special.

Sound dude made the night in this concrete rectangle, badass adjustments were made as he knows the room obviously.
$20 to get in, then told once in $10 bar minimum. Grow up and tell patron all fees upon paying to walk into the joint.
The Drowns from Seattle rocked, killer punk and the lead guitarist shredded!
Cool peeps, good tunes

Great bar for live music and inexpensive beers. Music tends to the heavy end of the spectrum.
Parking: Free on-street parking is often available nearby. Otherwise there is a large lot adjacent.

Best experience in Boise. Such a small setting makes it feel super huge, you're right in the action. Plus a cool little pit but hella respectful. Please tip your bartenders. ??? Stay

Seen some of craziest international metal acts played here. The coolest metal venue in town
Venue sells tickets from websites that employees are to dumb to honor...
Entire venue is small, cramped and smell like urine which is pretty explainable if you have ever walked into the bathroom..
The entire staff is old people who are inept to the tech thats needed to do their jobs, the ones not using tech are crusty old men pedophiling it up with the kids in there..
Literally the worst venue ive been to in 11 state, i would be ashamed to be its owner and the place should be closed

Venue sells tickets online that they are not smart enough to honor!!! Staff is completely inept and incapable of doing their jobs, i was honestly shocked to even get a refund considering the old man was so busy looking at the 12 year olds.. Easily the worst and creepiest venue ive seen in the 11 states ive toured across.. This place should be CLOSED and the owner should be ashamed of themselves
Venue will drop shows within days of the event because they just "forget" about booking them. Touring bands beware!! Insanely unprofessional!
They host some awesome punk and ska concerts here. Tiny little place, but the shows here are so much fun I love when one of the bands I like is playing here.

The Shredder puts killer shows for touring acts and local artists alike. Hardcore acts frequent here. The atmosphere has personality, lots of arcade games, hardcore posters, props and weird decorations to look at. They provide free water to guests.Having performed here myself I can say the crew is respectful and great. They treat the artists well. The live sound quality is good but usually mixed loud, so bring earplugs.

they have the best shows
