Make sure you make a reservation before coming here. If you don’t there is a house phone you can call on to do so. Expect a wait because this place is fantastic!! Once you are invited in through the mirror lined wall you step in to an intimate gathering spot. Dim lighting, comfy furniture, cozy spot to sit and not only take in the scene but to also enjoy the company you are with. Keep in mind this is not the place to get a meal. They have a sweet and savory option for a snack. This is THE place to come for delicious cocktails and great conversation! We were so impressed and felt so relaxed the entire time. Our wait staff was so friendly and took their time to answer any questions we had. We had an amazing time! Thank you for bringing such a wonderful place to town!!

Sweet little speakeasy. Loved the atmosphere and the cocktails were fun and delicious. It was a great place to check out and celebrate 'friendiversary'. Definitely will be back.

As an avid connoisseur of the mixology scene across the nation's most celebrated bars, my visit to Thick as Thieves was met with anticipation. The ambiance of the place indeed carries a unique charm; its speakeasy vibe, complemented by intriguing glow-in-the-dark cocktails, promises an escape from the ordinary. However, beneath the allure of its atmosphere, Thick as Thieves exhibits a notable shortfall in one critical area: authenticity. The cocktail offerings, while visually and conceptually engaging, lean heavily on the theatrical rather than pioneering in mixology. For instance, the innovation behind renaming classic cocktails does little to mask the familiarity of their origins. A Negroni by any other name, despite its presentation or slight twist in ingredients, remains fundamentally a Negroni. This observation is not to discredit the craftsmanship or the quality of the ingredients, which are commendable, but to highlight a missed opportunity in truly elevating the cocktail experience to match the bar's exceptional setting. In cities renowned for their mixology like Chicago, New York, and San Francisco, bars distinguish themselves not just through ambiance but through a relentless pursuit of cocktail innovation and authenticity. These establishments constantly push the boundaries of what a cocktail can be, marrying tradition with groundbreaking techniques and flavors. In comparison, Thick as Thieves, for all its atmospheric prowess, falls short of this mark. The reliance on the novelty of its environment over the substance of its cocktail craft leaves it feeling like a 3-star experience ensconced within a 5-star facade. In conclusion, Thick as Thieves stands as a testament to the importance of atmosphere in the modern bar experience. However, for the seasoned patron of the mixology world, the search for a truly transcendent cocktail experience—where innovation, authenticity, and atmosphere meet in perfect harmony—continues.

If you want to have boring conversation and listen to old school rap music, this is your place. Five stars because the Japanese Whiskey made me happy ?

Fun place. Great atmosphere. Server was attentive and on the ball. Drink quality are well above average. Old Fashions were on par. Only knock I have is your time is limited based on reserved time range, but I get it.

Our first time at this stellar speakeasy style bar was amazing! The atmosphere is classy and intimate but also very cool vibe. Not stuffy at all. Great ambiance!Very friendly, efficient staff behind the bar. Enjoyed their knowledge of the beverages served and watching them prepare cocktails. It was a full house and we did not have to wait to be served. Had some surprisingly amazing beverages for the designated driver as well! Accessing the bar entrance was the best! Will definitely be back!

Awesome speakeasy. The entrance is pretty cool and hidden. The atmosphere is low light with some 1920's vibes. It's a great place to sit back and have conversation. It has tables where you can bring larger groups. One odd thing is that the staff is dressed very casual. More casual than most of the customers. The place gives off classy vibes and most people were dressed up. You can get in without a reservation but good luck. A reservation is definitely recommended.
