At regional soccer tournament. 3rd in line and stood for 20 minutes. They didn't take any of our orders. Didn't acknowledge us once. What a joke. Left and would never revisit this place again.

This truck came to our school carnival, and it was so delicious! We had a burrito and the 3 tacos with rice & beans. They are easy to work with for substitutions (great when you have kids!), and are really friendly. The prices were reasonable too.

None of the food we ordered was at described on the menu or by the staff and way over-priced. For a plate of Carne Asada fries and their combo number one, it was $27. The fries had no meat on it. It was fries, pinto beans, under a pool of gas station cheese sauce. A plus is that the fries were very crispy. The pork in the pork tamale was dry and stringy like roasted straw basically. Definitely don't recommend.

We have used Tony's Tamales to cater a few events and every time everyone raves about the food! The enchiladas are AMAZING and the tacos are good as well! The service is friendly and we will definitely hire them again!!

We had a Halloween Birthday party for our 2 year old daughter today and Tony's Tamales catered our event.. They brought their Taco cart and it was hands down the best Mexican food we've had in Boise since moving here 1.5 years ago.. Eric And his staff were so friendly and professional. All my guests raved about the food. They made 3 diff kinds of meat, Rice, Beans, Tacos or burritos and Quesadillas for the kiddos.. So easy, So Yummy and I highly recommend for any type or party or event. Thank you Tony's Tamales you made our party so special.. Larissa

Tried to set up catering for a wedding. They were quick to respond to the website lead but the follow up was non-existent when it came to actually booking the event. I finally called their number until I reached someone and discussed all the details. They were going to send me an estimate and I was to make a deposit but I never received the estimate. I called back and did not get a response there either. I gave up and hired catering from Qdoba and it was great.

Horrible. absolutely horrible. Tortillas that were hard and dry. Tamales that were dry and tasteless. overcooked. Expectations did not meet reality. Sorry.
My daughter ordered 2 chicken tamales and 1 taco and the charged her $15!!! When I went back to ask they said the tamales were $4.75 each and the Taco was $2.50!!! It still didn’t add up and they refused to give us a refund. Not only do the cheat children the food does not taste good.

If I could give a zero star I would this food was disgusting. Worst “Mexican” food truck I’ve ever been too was waiting for such a long time just to eat what taste like he spilled the whole grease bottle it was so disgusting worst place I’ve eaten dont recommended at all.??

Please people never use these people in the future!! We had a contract for our neighborhood 4th July neighborhood gathering for 4th of July with a guarantee $1000 in sales. Well 30 minutes prior to them coming out to our neighborhood Sage Canyon, they canceled with all the excuses in the world. We told them that there was a $1000 guarantee in sales or we would make up the difference per the contract. Well at the 30 minute mark Tony's Tamales canceled leaving the entire neighborhood to figure something out. When we explained that the entire neighborhood was planning to patronize the food truck to get the $1000 they said it's not their problem and that they won't be coming. We made it work with our them but wait till the repercussions when we fight the contract out.

At the cherry festival, I ordered a Carne asada burrito with no sour cream. I get it and take a bite, sour cream all over the Carne asada. So I take it back, they make me a new one and said this one is perfect. Nope! Chicken this time. The boss guy in charge was drinking beer in the taco truck and was rude as heck with me. I asked for my money back and he asked me what I ordered. I explained the situation and he cut me off mid sentence, very drunkenly, saying OK! I heard you. 40 minutes later I got my money back and at that point wasn't even hungry anymore.

catered an event for us this weekend. food and service was excellent. they even mingled and made friends with many of us. it was a great time and I highly recommend them. great people, great food, great service
