This stand poisoned me on purpose. They decided to give me a completely burnt dog hidden under the toppings. I took a couple bites and threw the dog away. Hours later unable to sleep due to the poisoning, I threw up a lot of burnt dog skin. I was very polite to the stand, and tipped them. Regardless the stand decided to target me with a burnt dog because that night a flower scammer/solicitor was following my group from club to club. I told the flower scammer to stop harassing me while in line for the stand for the 4th time that night! The stand lacked the context and took it upon themselves to poison me. Other people in line were remarking about how unusual that I got my dog so much quicker than everyone else. Another person who was completely unaware of my interaction was scammed while I was in line. Ironically he asked me if I thought he just got scammed. This fellow decided to run after the scammers because he was pretty upset with his kindness being taken advantage of. After receiving my dog and being chased away by the other fellow, the scammer came back for a 5th scamming/harassment attempt. A refund would be nice but is not equal value to being poisoned. This stand should seriously consider the severity of their actions, and not try to be the police, judge, and jury in an interaction they didn't have the context to. They decided to poison me because I sternly requested the scammer to stop harassing for the 4th me when approached in line.

Richard the owner plays favorites on how he changes or cuts in line. He don't give refunds. You wait hours to get your food. The staff aren't trained properly. Hires homeless people to work for him. Don't pay taxes on his income or employees.

Good food and the staff is super nice. Went on a week night and got excellent service and didn't have to wait long. Right near the bars too so you get dinner with a great view

Wish I could give them less than one star. We ordered food, they were friendly. As we waited, we saw one of them light a cigarette and smoke directly next to where the food was cooking. When I told them it was rude, disgusting and a heath code violation to be smoking directly next to the food, they laughed it off like it was no big deal. I will NEVER visit their establishment again.

Horrible experience tonight. Waited 1hr and 45 minutes and watched others cut to get food faster. Its a simple system to write numbers on receipts and then ensure it's fair. Also will not give refunds even when politely asked. They stated It's against their policy.

My husband and I make Top Dog Grill our usual every other Saturday night stop! The food is incredibly tasty, the staff is so friendly and personable, the lines move fast, and you still always get exactly what you ordered! They blow all the downtown late night eats out of the water, and I would (and have) Highly recommend them to any hungry downtown pedestrian.

my partner and i never stay out late, but this was our first time in Boise and we thought why not hit up some bars in town and enjoy ourselves. we got a little tipsy and all of a sudden it was 1am! we couldn't find places to eat at that time so we came across Top Dog. I ordered the chicken bacon wrap and my bf ordered the chorizo dog! we walked home with our stomachs full and our taste buds content. this place was awesome and fast! they have plenty of condiments and toppers to add on to your comforting dog and wrap! highly recommend for late night cravings
