My friend works next door at the nail salon. I got a mani done so I thought why not grab a fruit tea to keep my wonderful afternoon going. I have been to a majority of the boba spots in town so I was excited to try it this joint out.
I love love love how girly and cute this place is! The pink walls. The decorative wall with all the roses on it. The gold accents. The cute chandeliers. The vibe of this place is right up my alley! I appreciate how feminine it is.
I was instantly greeted by the sweet gal behind the counter. She said I was more than welcome to order with her or at the kiosk. I chose to order at the kiosk as I can take my time to go over the drink menu without being stressed of taking too much of her time.
They have quite a few options. I know most places have similar drinks so I was looking to see if they have something different. I do love some of the names they have their drinks. I chose the Barbie today. It sounded fun and girly so why not. It's a pomegranate and lychee fruit tea with strawberry popping boba.
I have tried a lot of fruit combinations with lychee. This will be my first experience with pomegranate. My drink came out bright and vibrant. I love the cute design on the cup and seal. Popped my straw into that baby and took a huge sip. Mannnn was it good! It was sweet and slightly tart. The popping bobas were a great addition to the drink. Barbie was definitely the right pick.
I would frequent this place everyday if they were closer to me. All the fun places are always clear across town. My tea was delicious and fun. The gal that helped me a really sweet. And the venue is just too cute. I look forward to coming back when I get my nails again.

The small drinks are really small at a high price point and the ingredients do not seem to be high quality. The flavor isn't anything remarkable and is very much slightly flavored milk with overcooked tapioca. The cup was not full before getting sealed.

The boba is under cooked. I went in yesterday and I specifically ordered drink with milk. They gave me 2 of them with milk tea. Then I paid for 2 more to make them redo it to milk. Then they don’t give me one of the drink and put it in their fridge. That’s the weirdest thing! I paid for 6 drinks and only got 5.

Overall, such a cute and vibey place with ample very fun energy! I loved the theme and aesthetic and it definitely made for some fun photos! I ordered a strawberry milk tea with rose and the traditional boba and it was delicious! One of the best boba milk teas I’ve had here in Boise! The only thing that bumped it down for me was the wait time. We weren’t in a rush, which is a-ok but if you are in a hurry, maybe not the go to place for a quick stop and go. Regardless though, I overlook this fact as we enjoyed this place a lot and had a lot of fun! Definitely will be going back again!

Tra Boba Milk Tea completely exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was cozy and welcoming. The staff were friendly and super helpful in recommending drinks based on my taste.
I tried the OG and it was incredible—perfectly balanced sweetness, fresh tapioca pearls with just the right chew, and a smooth, rich flavor. They also offer customizable sugar and ice levels, which is great.
The presentation was Instagram-worthy, and I appreciate that they use quality ingredients. It’s clear they care about both taste and aesthetics.
