Review for Tropical Smoothie Cafe
The food was good, and my order was made quickly, which I appreciate. However, I went through the drive-thru and was caught off guard when the employee directly asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I don’t mind tipping for great service, but at a fast-food-style place where all they did was take my order and hand me my food, it felt unnecessary. I believe employees should be paid fairly by their employers instead of relying on customers to make up the difference. The interaction felt a bit awkward and pressured, which took away from the overall experience.

Normally love Tropical Smoothie Cafe, this location just isn't it. The last few times I've gone, the service has been slow. I work just down the road so I came here one morning to grab breakfast. Google said the drive thru opened at 8, I got there at 8:12 and proceeded to sit there for a solid five minutes without anyone coming over the intercome to greet me/take order. We just went through the drive thru today and the guy on the intercom was very short. We got a flatbread which normally comes with a side, the guy didn't ask what side we'd like and simply told us our total. Didn't see his name obviously but it was whoever was working the intercom 01/30 at around 2:45pm. Normally I'd assume someone is just having on off day but this is my second experience with this guy just being rather short and unfriendly as if we're causing him some sort of inconvenience. I work retail so trust me, I get both sides of it, but my guy, you gotta work on your customer service skills. Hopefully this location becomes a good one again soon.

Usually I love tropical smoothie put the location on Broadway avenue has continuously giving me poor service and has continuously messed up has messed up my orders time and time again there's been a handful times where I've been waiting in the Drive-Thru line the only car in line and they take forever to answer you and your repeat yourself through the intercom and they still managed to get your order wrong after waiting 15 minutes or longer to get finally get your food even if you're the only car in the Drive-Thru and then when they finally give you your food the girl handling the window usually always has a horrible attitude when you ask for the bag of chips that was supposed to be in your meal period I never go out of my way to leave reviews but I'm just tired of coming here and it's like this every time I used to love tropical smoothie but I guess I'll never go to this location anymore.

This place has decent smoothies and wraps. But they are horribly understaffed. Today I ordered a salad in drive-thru and waited over 20 minutes before I finally had to drive out of line. There were still two cars in line ahead of me! They have always been a little slow, but it has gotten much worse lately.

Average may be too generous. The Blimey Limey had no real distinctive tastes. The Strawberry and Banana with added non-fat yogurt seemed to still have like a cut up ice. Def overpriced for what it was.

I visit this cafe frequently but after my experience the other day, I had to leave a review. Almost everytime I’ve gone, the place is horribly understaffed and therefore slow but there is one employee that has stood out to me. Connor is such a great guy and despite the pressure I’m sure he’s under, he is always still very efficient and kind! Plus the smoothies he makes are bomb. Give this guy a raise!!

Lately, every time I have come here, my smoothies are more ice than anything. Chunky ice with a hint of fruit flavor. It's ridiculous. If I wanted blended Ice id do it myself. I used to LOVE tropical smoothie cafe. I'm not sure if they changed the recipe to be more ice now or what... but it's isn't good at all. It's a waste of money. I even let it sit for an hour this time cause maybe once it melted, I'd be able to stir it and actually taste fruit... but no. It's just one big chunk of ice now.

Not going to lie I felt bad when I showed up 10 minutes before close, and even apologized for the inconvenience. The blonde who half smiled then glared at me can use some self control over her emotions though lmao. So inappropriate.

Took 10 minutes to make a couple drinks. Made me the wrong drink and I didn’t even make it a mile down the road before I noticed. Immediately turned around, and after pulling up and they just closed by a minutes time. I explained their mistake, asked for it to be fixed and then I was rudely dismissed and received a chuckle that the store is now closed and come back tomorrow when it’s convenient. Terrible customer service
