wanted something cold, high in Vitamin C, tasty, yet filling. young man that worked the counter was friendly and able suggest a smoothie not on menu board anymore. Muscle blast I think. he added whey protein and vitamin C and was able to cut down the sugar added. Considering the costs of meal at a fast food place, this was a good value meal replacement smoothie. I also got the blueberry chia oatmeal bowl for a meal later on. the bowl used could be a smidge bigger so some of topping isn't schmushed but no biggie.

Just got our order home to go and was given kale and apple slaw that expired 4 days ago. I called and was offered to be given one not expired if I drove back down to the store. No thanks. Biggest concern is why are they still in possession of food that expired 4 days ago?

I went through the drive through at 11:57 and found a piece of SOMEONE ELSES CUP IN MY SMOOTHIE! Clearly not from my cup as my cup is still in tack. Hugely disappointing, idk why someone would think it’s okay to give someone a smoothie with styrofoam in it!

Every time I go to this location, they give me a drink that’s more ice than fruit and sometimes forget my pea protein powder. Today it was both. The bowl they gave me was also underloaded. The smoothie was spilling out of the top. They didn’t wipe off the cup and it got on my clothes before a photoshoot. The manager doesn’t really seem to care. What a waste of money. Don’t go to this location anymore. Go to the one on overland by Walmart.

Tropical Smoothie is my go-to when I need a fruity boost. Their smoothies are fresh and tasty, it’s like a mini vacation in a cup—no passport required! The menu is full of fun choices, and I love tossing in extra boosts just to feel like a smoothie scientist. The staff is always cheerful and quick, making it the perfect spot for a refreshing pick-me-up.
The drive thru at this particular location is so awful. It’s built in an old bank building so the drive thru is the old bank drive thru. There are killer curbs that are completely invisible from the driver seat. Someone’s gonna need CV joints replaced one of these days. You can tell by the number of black marks and broken concrete that this is a recurrent issue for many.

My husband & I come here often. There are always nice knowledgeable people working & the smoothies/food are bomb! Shaka-Shine is someone we see pretty often & he's awesome! Though we tend to get a smoothie 8/10 times, we've also had their breakfast which I've personally enjoyed. They offer rewards to redeem, so we get free smoothies/add ins + T-Mobile Tuesdays partner with them too! If you have a preference of a Thick or Less Thick Smoothie - just let them know, and they'll make it how you like it 😀

Review for Tropical Smoothie Cafe
The food was good, and my order was made quickly, which I appreciate. However, I went through the drive-thru and was caught off guard when the employee directly asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I don’t mind tipping for great service, but at a fast-food-style place where all they did was take my order and hand me my food, it felt unnecessary. I believe employees should be paid fairly by their employers instead of relying on customers to make up the difference. The interaction felt a bit awkward and pressured, which took away from the overall experience.

Normally love Tropical Smoothie Cafe, this location just isn't it. The last few times I've gone, the service has been slow. I work just down the road so I came here one morning to grab breakfast. Google said the drive thru opened at 8, I got there at 8:12 and proceeded to sit there for a solid five minutes without anyone coming over the intercome to greet me/take order. We just went through the drive thru today and the guy on the intercom was very short. We got a flatbread which normally comes with a side, the guy didn't ask what side we'd like and simply told us our total. Didn't see his name obviously but it was whoever was working the intercom 01/30 at around 2:45pm. Normally I'd assume someone is just having on off day but this is my second experience with this guy just being rather short and unfriendly as if we're causing him some sort of inconvenience. I work retail so trust me, I get both sides of it, but my guy, you gotta work on your customer service skills. Hopefully this location becomes a good one again soon.
