Comfortable tavern with full bar and craft beer on tap. Plenty of TVs plus high and low tables. Nice decorations round out the place. Good responsive wait staff. I had eaten here one other time quite a few years ago.

I had the 3 Carnitas Tacos with pico de gallo. Meat tasted good, plenty of pico too. Tortillas held together nicely. Hot sauce had a different flavor to it, couldn't put my finger on the taste. It was nice and spicy though, not overly hot. Could have used a lime for a quick drizzle.

I washed them down with an Icicle Dragontail IPA from Leavenworth, WA. They have 16 and 22 oz pours.

Carter did a great job and she was very friendly.

Too bad I couldn’t give them 0 stars! Stopped in for a drink and lunch. Got a beer and glass of wine right away and asked the waitress for menus so we could order something to eat. She brought the menus then disappeared into the back room with one of the only other patrons in the place. The other two waitress sat behind the bar talking while our waitress was showing the patron her wares. We sat there for 45 minutes before she and the patron emerged from the back room. She went straight back behind the bar with the others and sat talking to them. Nobody came over to ask if we wanted another drink or to take a food order. My husband put money to pay for our drinks on the bar on our way out. I didn’t even hear one of the staff acknowledge us as we were leaving. Very disappointing considering we live in the local neighborhood.

Chicken tacos were awful and not even warm. Plus spicy which wasn’t mentioned on menu, so my kids were crying after first bite. Pizza tasted like gas station quality. Had high hopes for this cute place, but I won’t be going back. Also asked for little plates for my kids, and we never received them. Place was pretty empty and we hardly were acknowledged.

VERDICT: I recommend the turkey avocado sandwich and a Cali Creamin' Ale (Mother Earth Brewing). A superb lunch spot for a peaceful bite.

FOOD: The side salad was exceptionally fresh and crisp and an excellent companion to the turkey avocado sandwich. The focaccia was dense but not detracting from the medley of turkey, avocado, bacon bits, lettuce, tomato, etc. The sandwich was outstanding.

DRINK: Beer was drafted well and cold.

SERVICE: Friendly, quick, and exuded a chill attitude.

ATMOSPHERE: Pretty peaceful. An excellent quiet lunch spot.

What a great place! Great food, friendly service, and very reasonably priced. My biggest fear is word will get out and it will be standing room only the next time I come in.
