I have driven by this place so many times and have always wanted to try it. I finally did, and was not disappointed! It was so refreshing to get the old-fashioned mom n pop treatment. They were so genuinely nice and the food was very good! It was cooked to order, fresh n hot, and very reasonably priced, unlike big chained fast-food places. The food was fine, but it was overpriced for what you got. With a side you get a miniscule cup of fry sauce and they charge you .30 for another. It's not a huge deal, but is annoying. Just give us slightly bigger dip cups! There's no way I will ever go again unless they dramatically lower their prices. There are a lot of great drive-ins in Boise, but this is not one of them.
It can't decide what the best part was. First off the young lady working was professional, fast, & very friendly. I had the grilled chicken sandwich, it was fresh, hot and the perfect amount of little bit messy. Viking drive in is a great choice when you're in the area AND you're supporting local!
