If you haven't had an experience in the Cellar you haven't an experience in Boise. Definitely stop by Monday nights for some all out laughs at the open mic comedy.

I feel bad for not asking his name, but the bartender Sunday night was great! Super nice guy. Drinks were great and loved getting to play beer pong with my buddy. (Even though I'm terrible at it)

I only made it through about a quarter of my drink before leaving, which says a lot because I never do that. The layout of the bar is super awkward — even though it wasn’t packed, it felt like people were always in each other’s way. The bartender wasn’t very helpful and even gave us a $5 bill back instead of singles, which made tipping a hassle.

The vibe was, for lack of a better word, flat. The music was too low, kind of dated, and the whole room felt stuffy. The crowd was mostly really young (totally fine if that’s your vibe), but definitely not the spot for anyone 30+. On top of that, there were empty glasses all over and the tables were wet since no one seemed to be cleaning up after guests.

Overall, not a place I’d go back to.
