Do not trust any of the information online. They recently rebranded 3 restaurants and updated all of the menus.
None of the food we ordered at the House of Western was particularly good. And if you come for the games, good luck - most of them were broken and steal your money.

I came in for a quick bite with an friend and bella was SO AMAZING! I have celiac disease & she was very knowledgeable about all the ingredients in each dish. she made sure to explain which menu items could have possible cross contamination & gave me peace of mind about the safety my food which is a rare experience for me when dining out. I will definitely be back to see bella again!

Overpriced, poor service. Food took an hour and a half. There was problems trying to cash everyone out so that took another hour and a half. I felt bad for the server, their system is terrible and not easy to use. Obviously poor management. Food was good and atmosphere was OK. Heard other people on the way out say " And that's why the place is empty." Definitely needs some adjusting.

American-style restaurant and bar in downtown Boise offering lounging areas, bowling, air hockey, and arcade games. They offer indoor and outdoor seating.Really cool place - it is deep inside and decently sized. They don't have a huge food menu though, service was meh, and food was mediocre. I feel like this place is trying to sell itself on just their ambiance and activities alone.

Give Bella a raise.Great happy hour buy one get one (??? ) cocktails, beer and wine, $10 burgs and cheap apps with with generous servings. The real highlight of our most recent visit and the reason I decided to review was our server, Bella. She was WILDLY knowledgeable about the menu and was able to distinguish gf vs celiac safe dishes without having to check with kitchen, which is ? for a celiac and also so rare. She made great recos, was so polite, genuine, and personable. 100% Bella made our visit and we'll be back because of her incredible service.I would also like to be clear I do not know Bella, but I have managed restaurants, and been in the industry 12+ years and she really is a gem!
Dietary restrictions: They can accommodate vegans and folx with celiac disease. The menu is well marked and easy to browse with dietary restrictions.

Great Sunday experience! Easy like Sunday morning! Had the carnitas bowl, missing some tortillas but overall good just ask for hot sauce, salt, pepper, and extra lime slices (complements to the chef!). Great servers!

I absolutely loved Dueling Pianos. Probably the best night out I’ve had in ages. I sure hope it continues!

Not a great experience tonight. We got there around 7:30, ordered drinks and appetizers, we got our drinks pretty quick but didn't get our food for about an hour and the waffle fries were cold! Not like luke warm, like straight out of the fridge cold!!! We looked around for a waiter, finally 15 minutes later, we flagged one down and asked for a refire.... then another 20/30 minutes we flagged her down again to just cancel our order. But during that time, I went to the bathroom, only to come back and have a server come from the bar and spill his entire tray of drinks down my back and break all the glass on the floor!!! I smelled like alcohol the rest of the night! Not sure I will be going back any time soon. This was unfortunate!

Attended during an event where a company rented out the bowling and game area. We were able to use all of the games and bowling for free. The food provided was very good. Waffle fries with amazing garlic dressing and cheese. Large seasoned breaded shrimp. Cheesy Artichoke dip. Grilled chicken and steak. An assortment of veggies and nacho toppings. The seating around the gay area is very nice furniture and standing tables. The only minor complaint was there wasn't very much staff provided to order drinks. For about 40 people they only had one staff member coming around getting drink orders. You were able to go up to the bar to order though.
Wheelchair accessibility: All on the ground floor. No steps to get to any of the game areas.

Games took a lot of money from mistaken extra card swipe attempts and ownership never returns calls.

Visited Western Proper for a birthday trip with friends. The server was so awesome! She kept up with the nearly 30 of us. Always checking in on if we needed refills or anything else. She made great suggestions on drinks and food.We very much enjoyed the waffle truffle fries, and placed a second order. The Jam burger was also ridiculously good! If you enjoy savory sweet combinations, it's a good choice. Our group also enjoyed bowling and playing air hockey. This was a very fun spot I hope to enjoy again.
