We were just traveling I-80, and stopped at the grocery store next door. Saw the pink neon "Westside Drive In" sign, and figured we'd pop over for a snack. Holy amazing food! We figured we'd get small, greasy portions of fried food and an overy-sugared shake for the really reasonable prices on the menu. Instead, we felt like we'd hit the jackpot: large amount of excellent quality pub food snacks, and the best shake I've had in years. We had the fried pickles, BBQ tater tots, fried zucchini sticks, and the blueberry marshmallow shake. Mmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmm! All for around $20 total; you can't beat it. We'll definitely put this on the travel rotation in the future.

So, I went here on the first of the month, and I must say, the people where very nice. But im affraid thats where the good stuff ends. I got a cheese burger meal with fried and a drink and the only thing I finished was the drink. The fried where dried up and crunchy and the lettus on the burger was not tasting good at all and ruined the whole burgers. When I burped, I could swear I'd had had chinese from lunch due to the after tastes but nope, it was this place, anyways waste of $12 and it made me sad, there's a subway in the same parking lot as this place, I'd recommend going there instead. And they don't ask for a tip there either ? and there foods actually edable.

I love Chef Lou's Westside drive in. Very good quality, perfect portions, nice people and a rock & roll oldies theme. Also very clean
Always short handed and needs a lot of updates and cleaning.
Parking: Pizza and sandwiches are very good here. Just be prepared to wait and be patient. The food is a little bit on the grease side. It was extremely hard to find parking and would take the food home if I was you!

Purchased finger steaks at the Parkcenter location. The fries were extremely salty to the point of not being edible. Finger steaks were similar in quality to what The Torch served years ago. The red sauce though tasted more like marinara than cocktail sauce. Counter person seemed annoyed that I only left a couple dollars tip on basically a self service transaction.
