Truly a 5 star hidden gem in Garden City.
Sand wall to wall, open air, nice plants, great prices on beer, delicious food, good vibes, great music.
Nothing else is needed.

This place is awesome 10/10. My only complaint is that they aren’t open earlier in the spring & later in fall 😘
This place rips and the owners seem super cool and don’t take no shit. My only beef is it’s always really busy but hey, I’m just visiting, so I’m happy to be part of that problem. Great rice and beans too.

Love this place!! The only downside is it can sometimes be standing room, only sardine packed, with no shelter from the sun (limited). They do have misters and some shade. Speaks to how awesome the place is but still sucks lol.
I love this place. It's my new favorite.

Yardarm is such a hidden gem in Boise! The laidback, beachy vibes make it the perfect spot to chill with a beer in hand. They’ve got the best music, the friendliest staff who make you feel so welcome, and the tacos and burritos seriously hit the spot. Don’t sleep on the chips and salsa!! That salsa is next level. Super fresh, super flavorful, and honestly kinda addicting

My favorite beer on tap and the hottest bartenders in Boise make this my favorite local hot spot!

The atmosphere might have been better if the dogs present were required to be controlled (and not allowed to take a dump in the literal middle of the seating/walking area or pee on the underside of the tables).
The menu was a mixed bag — the $10 burritos were good (though some of the meat was pretty tough), but the tacos were $5 a piece and they were microscopic. If they were sized to feed a child, they would have been acceptable. The tip options on the iPad for ordering were also egregious given the level of service actually provided: 30%, 40%, or 50%.
The girls running the kitchen, both the cook and the one taking orders, ignored you unless they decided it was time to listen to your order. The bartender was pleasant to speak to, but he just seemed... passively annoyed. Not really sure what was up there, but it wasn't the most inviting feeling as a patron.
Overall, I was pretty disappointed. So much so that we ended up taking our half-eaten food and finishing it while walking down the Greenbelt.
I last visited Yardarm several years ago, and I was really excited to finally come back because the food and atmosphere had been *THAT* memorable. I'm not really sure what all changed (or if I was recalling things through rose colored glasses), but I'm bummed it wasn't how I remembered it. ?

Great outdoor bar with excellent service, beers and cocktails in the can. Best outside dive bar to stop when cruising the green belt. A must stop.
