The chips and salsa enhance the experience, but it's really all about the drinks, the ambiance, and the pet-friendliness. Picture it: a warm, sunny day in Boise, sand under your sandaled feet, beachy tunes playing in the background, friendly dogs under tables, a cold beer, and your good friends. The staff/owners are great, too. You want to be here.

Out riding the Greenbelt I found this place to be an Oasis on a summer day.If you happen to be on the garden side of the Boise river on the Greenbelt in an area of 35th St. You can find just about anything you want here for food or drinks. Or just a place to chill for a bit.Highly recommend it !

Awesome surf-style bar. Bartender and staff are friendly, and the outdoor beer garden makes you feel like you’re on vacation.

I had an earlier review that was 1 Star without any text. That must have been like a butt dial review because I was totally unaware of it until I saw I had a reply to it! Sorry! This place is actually very cool. I only stopped for a quick beer with my husband while we waited for my family to meet us. Small outdoor bar with beach vibes to match the nearby Whitewater Park. Good draft selection and cans available. People and dog watching outside, and some awesome vehicles in the lot for some conversation topics. Is the dodge van the owners?? So sick!

The misters made the heat bearable even on one of our hottest days. Our bartender was attentive and not intrusive, the crowd was varied and very friendly, and the food 'boat' had some mouth-watering carne. I had a dry cider and my friend a shandy which were both perfect on a hot day. All together a wonderful early evening break. The only negative was some uncooked grains in the lime rice....otherwise sterling!

Fun outdoor bar! The misters really help in the heat! Nice use of an old Chris Craft for barfood as well.

Came here for the first time to celebrate a friends birthday last night. Initial impression, definitely cool vibe and nice outdoor spot, with misters which was greatly appreciated. Ordered some NA beers, was glad they had a couple options available for those who don’t drink. The real weird experience was with the girl that was working in the boat serving food. She was way rude to my buddy and I after asking about what options were offered. She refuses to answer our question and says “we have a menu right there”. It literally would have taken less words out of your mouth to say “chicken, shrimp, and asada”. Inconvenienced to answer a question, and proceeds to slam the iPad down with the tip screen in our face. Lol. Customer service is for sure not this girls strong point whoever she is.Had a good night regardless, but I don’t understand why people like that work in that type of role.

It’s always a great place to hang out with friends. I recommend going on a weekday if you’re not into huge crowds and possibly standing. The misters keep you cool. No kids. Lots of dogs. Good food. Cold beer!

Awesome little spot!Owner is cool, you just have to know how to take a joke and dish one out. The theme is super cool, you will feel like you are in a nice tropical Caribbean bar. Awesome back story on how it came to be. Tacos are solid, they will go great with your beer and the sprinklers are a wonderful touch. If you don’t like it you can always take your behind to Applebees ?

Like the atmosphere until closing out. Always tip minimum of 20%, typically more because I'm not forced into it and understand the industry. Was a little put off when I went to close out, the iPad is flipped around and my tip options are "30" "40" or "50" percent. Was icing on the cake because the food truck tip options where "20" "30" or "40" percent. Almost made me tip less. Good tips are earned, not forced.
