I've eaten here for years and have always had a good experience both in service and the quality/taste of the food. A great lunch spot for those who work near by!

We were looking for a good traditional Dim Sum place and unfortunately this isn’t the place. Their Siu Mai was too gamey which I’ve never had this happen.Har Gow (Hai Kow) was ok. I’m not sure I’ll be back. Perhaps the rest of their selections are better but this was disappointing. The place also doesn’t open until noon on Sunday so don’t plan on a Breakfast Dim Sum. I’ll wait to go back to Portland or China Town in San Jose or SF for this type of food. It’s also close to $8 per small plate so expect to pay a significant amount.

The food took forever- about an hour, wasn't very busy at about 2pm on a Saturday. The general chicken and orange chicken were bland- no spice at all.

We read many great reviews and decided to drive from Nampa. The atmosphere although comfortable and clean seemed much like a coffee shop restaurant definitely not fancy. We ordered what the menu said was very popular for an appetizer. Our server kept coming back to see if we were ready to order entrees yet but we hadn't received the appetizer. We finally relented after her third time back and ordered entrees. Then the entrees came out with the appetizer so we declined the appetizer as our entrees would be cold by the time we finished them and sent them back. I had the General Tso chicken. The menu said all white breast meat but it was made with thigh meat. It tasted okay but very sweet and breading was thick. Wife ordered Kung Pao chicken and said the sauce was very strange in taste and texture. Overall we were disappointed with everything except my wife's mai tai was very good. We will stick with Pad Thai house they have consistently good food and service.

I give the food 5+ stars. Everything we ate made us look at each other and smile. 5 stars for price and service. 4 stars because it's still no wow factor on the location nor the interior; not bad at all and appeared very clean, just not a 5 star event. It's not a knock. I'll be back. Probably will change this rating up after another visit. I also remember when Asians worked at Asian restaurants. Maybe the cook?
The service was very slow. We sat there for 15 minutes before the waitress came. When we finally got the food, some of it was cold.
Not enough employees. Would not go back

everyone is so kind and the food is always delicious and consistent. Yen Ching is one of the few restaurants we frequent because of those reasons. 10/10

It was ok. Had to ask for service several times. I wouldn't recommend if you're on a lunch break as it took longer than an hour.
Excellent food service and atmosphere.
Great downtown restaurant.
Lots of food for the price.
Excellent flavor and just the right spice.
Highly recommend and will return.
