The food here was good - I got the sweet and sour and was not disappointed. Same as the crab rangoons… they were so good. Potstickers were just as good! The service was good, but they did appear to be understaffed which is unfortunate for them. Portions are huge! Overall, good place, but there is another place i’d say is

Yen Ching never disappoints. We went with our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter and ordered several dishes served family style. All were excellent. The General’s Chicken is the best in the valley - by a large margin.

The food is always hot and service is very good. We eat there every time we are in Boise.

The food was delicious, but we ended up waiting for over an hour to get our meal. Would try again down the line.

I have been here a few times and the food is always amazing. I enjoyed the fried rice, black bean noodles, orange chicken and crab Rangoon. I also had a cocktail that was very tasty. This most recent time I went it took over an hour to get our food. The waitress was very polite.

Went here for dinner on lunar new year. Everything tasted great, and there's still more I'd like to try. Service was solid, even though the server was obviously very busy. Best Chinese in Boise I've tried so far.

Great locally owned restaurant, we've been going since they opened over 20 years ago. Delicious flavors and a great menu. However, our favorite dishes always taste different depending on who's in the kitchen, and the prices have gone up (totally understandable) while the amount protein in each dish seems to have gone down- not a great combo. And even tho we order the same thing each time we order take out, the total is always different? But we are loyal customers, I can't live without their spicy Thai chicken noodle dish, no matter how different it always tastes. That, combined with the wonderful owner, means we'll always support this local restaurant.

we waited 60 minutes to get seated then another 60 to get the food. The food was just fair. Nothing special. The martini I had was really watered down but they did comp.me .
