The food was great but was very disappointed with my experience at the Yokozuna teriyaki as they use non-recyclable containers, which is environmentally irresponsible. It's disheartening to see a disregard for sustainability, especially in today's climate-conscious society. I hope they reconsider their packaging choices to align with more eco-friendly practices in the future. Won't be ordering there again.

Only problem is they are always running out of bobba.

Frustrating experience tonight unfortunately. I have gone here a few times. The food is average but it's kept me coming back. Everything closes so early in Boise and I forget. Went to get food 5 min before close and was greeted with "are you gonna make an order?!" as I walk through the door. Then people proceeded to argue about if they were gonna take my order or not in front of me. I get it I do, cause I've done a lot of customer service jobs but it just kinda sucks.

I always enjoy the teriyaki salmon salad with the miso vinaigrette. Friendly service too.

Honestly, whether in house or to go, best chicken teriyaki in town. Definitely a must try if looking for chicken teriyaki bowls. My only wish is that they had a scale for spiciness. Asking for them to make it spicy is very chef dependent and usually not enough for what I’m looking for.Parking: I’ve never had an issue finding a parking spot, though sometimes the line at Starbucks interferes with getting into the lot from the north side.

Checked this place out twice and both times I enjoyed the food, customer service and environment of the restaurant! I would definitely recommend the beef short rib bowl or the classic chicken teriyaki! The vanilla chai boba was also really good!

I had teriyaki chicken with vegetables and brown rice. Delicious. They skimp on the vegetables. They used to put out squirt bottles of teriyaki sauce but now they give a tiny container of sauce.I also got edamame. It comes in the pods with salt sprinkled over the top. The pods are too fibrous to eat so pop out the beans and add them to your rice or put the salty pod in your mouth and squeeze the beans into your mouth. This place is quite small. A lot of their customers get their food to go so the small size of the eating area does not matter.

Hits every time. I go here religiously for the affordable, nutritious, and tasty meals. Service is always fast. If you call in a order it will be ready in less than 10 minutes.

Just a simple small dining room with mostly takeout customers but about 7 small tables. Not terribly dirty, but not clean. I think the language barrier is strong here, so I give a little for that but the service was suuuuper slow, and discombobulated. They asked what kind of boba tea 3 times and forgot a portion of our order. After I asked for the gyoza and they said it's coming, they didn't inform me that it wasn't even on the order. They didn't charge me for it initially so that's fine. My son got the rice bowl and liked it - he's 13. It was okay but this feels like fast food to me. High in sodium, low is fresh ingredients (the zucchini was cooked perfectly though!) I got the chicken peanut noodles and they were not great. Noodles were gelatinous and flavor was okay but not much protein and pretty much zero veggies. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous so I'll likely be getting my son a rice bowl here again but it's to sodium laden/non authentic for my adult pallet.

This place takes me back to seattle style neighborhood teriyaki, this place competes easily with them all. Yokozuna is the best you can get in the whole state of Idaho, North or South. A weekly stop for

Used to be one of my favorite places. Would normally get 2-4 bubble teas a week. However, after today and the recent decline in quality, unfortunately I will no longer order from this establishment. Ordered 2 bubble teas today, and had to throw them both away without even trying a sip of either. Literal $10.49 down the drain. Don’t offer an item if you no longer have staff who can make said item.
