Yonutz Donuts and Ice Cream - Boise

Good...not great. Very limited Gluten-free options. Small servings, high prices. Hard to understand why they're still around. It's good, just not that good. Would not go there unless I have kids, even then, it's once every two years.

Ordered a cookies and cream smashed donut. It is ice cream between a donut. Tried since it seemed new, but taste wasn’t any unique. Plus I got it delivered, and maybe the donut got cold a bit. It’s supposed to be hot. Don’t order it to get, can try if you’re in the store

I am bummed to give this place one star, but it is not well managed at all. Whoever decided to make one poor young girl run the entire store alone on the weekend is not making good choices. There was probably 30 people in the store and she was desperately trying to run the register and make orders. My order was 3rd in line, and I had to give up and leave after 20 minutes because I had an appointment I couldn't miss. It really sucked because my kid was with me and she was extremely disappointed. I felt so bad for the young lady running the store all by herself on the weekend.

We were in the mood for some donuts, so I went later in the day. Wasn't overly impressed, but it was pretty late, so better than nothing. Come early.

These donuts make me sick. I first tried them in July and that same day I felt very sick and threw up, I didn’t really think anything of it. Fast forward to January, I got really sick after eating a donut from this place again.

If you're going to close your restaurant, update your website and Google maps. I went into town just for this, only to find out they're closed on Tuesdays. Oh, and you might want to shut off the blinking neon "open" sign too! I'll never come back!

EDIT: I see that Yonutz has responded to my original review (see above). Yonutz, Google only says that you're closed on Tuesdays because my partner changed it for you after we drove into town just to be disappointed by your closure. You're welcome! Yet, you STILL have not changed your hours on your website! I travel for work and was only in the area for a week. By not updating your hours, you lost my business. Had you updated your hours, I would have made plans to stop by on a different day. That being said, your response to my partner's review was extremely unprofessional, and I will not be giving any Yonutz chain my business in the future. I hope this can be a learning moment for you! "Closed on Tuesdays until further notice". The website does not say this. Google maps does not say this. I tried calling and nobody picked up. Yet I can still place an online order for Tuesday and the huge "Open" sign is still on despite it being Tuesday, the doors are locked and the lights are off.

Consider updating your website and your hours on Google if you're going to change your hours. Consider shutting off the "Open" sign for days you're not open. Oh yeah, and don't let people place orders online for days you're not even open!

Edit: I see they responded to my review. I edited the hours to show the business is closed on Tuesdays and it's really embarrassing as a business you take no accountability for your mistakes.

Do not tip at this place when using debit/credit. Those tips are used directly by the owner and go towards paying the employees hourly wages. If you want to tip the employees, use cash.

Best donuts i've had in a while! They did not have that overwhelmingly sugary taste to them like most other donuts do, and the same with all the toppings, they were amazing. 100% coming back again!!

We were made aware of this shop via an online story I read. We were only visiting Boise, but made a point to try out the Donut/ice cream sandwich. Delicious. Stop in!
