This place is definitely not what it used to be. We purchased Zen salad with salmon and Zen salad with chicken, With sauce zen salad on the side. What we got instead was teriyaki chicken bowl and salmon zen salad with some spicy dressing. Rice was Soft and overcooked. Part of why we get a salad is because there is typically more vegetables than rice. Customer service was way below what we used to see at this location. Very disappointing, considering we live on an opposite side of town. The person acted like she didn’t wanna be there.

Zen Bento is like hooking up with that homely girl down the street. It's convenient and not horrible, but it's never quite worth it and you feel bad afterwards. And then she starts raising her prices (metaphorically) and you've finally had enough.

Fadi awesome

Honestly, the food here tastes like it was probably a microwaved frozen winco package or something ?

Had the something spicy, friend had the mac and cheese, and the vegan option. All three gave us horrible stomach pain and diarrhea.Take that as you will.

The food is great. The workers I’m sure work very hard, however they are hardly ever open. They also don’t offer DoorDash or Uber eats. They change their hours for summer and winter. It’s essentially only a place you can go for lunch or and EXTREMELY early dinner. The hours aren’t great in my opinion, but the food is amazing!

Zen Bento is one of our favorites! We order from them quite often for large group lunches in the office. They are always super quick and helpful...and the food is always delicious! Today, we had an order for 12 people and they had it done in 30 minutes plus put everyone's names on their orders so it was easy to sort through them. Highly recommend! :)

Zen Bento is straight fire. Fire.

I wish the bowls had more up-front variety choices given fairly high price. Rice, steamed veggies, meat ,and a sauce is what you're getting if you order off the menu as is.

Always delicious. I've always ordered the Chicken Bento with Bonzai sauce, and it is so good. I crave it sometimes, and always make sure to get it when I'm downtown. I recently broke the mold and ordered the Hawaiian Bento with teriyaki sauce - also very good. It reminds me of the plate lunches in Hawaii, and I could never find anything close to that until now. As far as one reviewer saying the food is pre-cooked??? You can smell the chicken on the grill from a block away! And you can see them outside grilling in the warmer months. It's all fresh and so good!

Parking: Street parking can be tricky, so plan on either risking it in the loading zone or just walking a couple blocks.
