“Most people wouldn't give the black bear tavern second glance let alone to stop in for a cold beer.I've driven past the black bear tavern many times and for some strange reason it always brings a movie to mind, jeepers creepers! Now I'm not sure why it reminds me of that movie but i definitely had to stop.I'm glad i did. Not only did I get to enjoy some ice cold beer, but I met some mighty friendly folks one if which who was tending the bar who even showed me his classic truck equipped with a keg and taps!Talk about an awesome little watering hole.“
“Went hear a fortnite ago, kids were tanning the stella all night, was up with the wife singing god save our king at the karaoke, was a right laugh init (think thats what the wains say these days). Food was delicious, reminded me of that one time in NorthCarbrain when I met a lovely patriotic family doing what was best for R queen. They took me in and gave me a good breakie. anyway enough about me, great music (loved when are country icons like rolf harris came on) and even better patter. nuff said. x“
“We were on annual motorcycle trip. We were a group of nine. The bar had not really opened for the evening and the front door was locked. We could see someone inside so we called their phone number and the bar owner Chrissy answered and invited us to come in through the back door.How lucky were we! Chrissy was warm and welcoming, and funny. We had intended to stay for a few minutes, but wound up staying an hour. We will certainly return if we ever pass through Buhl, Idaho again. The orange-cinnamon Jell-O shots were awesome!!Thank you for making our visit so much fun, Chrissy!!!! We can't wait to return!!!!“
