Best tacos in the area, IMO. I have tried various restaurants and taco trucks in the Magic Valley area and none even come close to the authenticity of these tacos. The freshly made tortillas make all the difference vs the gross store bought tortillas a majority of places use.
Fantastic stop for lunch. My daughter was taken on a date here and highly recommended we come here while we were in town for lunch. Simple food that is fantastic. We all ordered something different and it was all very good. The service was great. Ordered and sat down. A few minutes later our food started showing up. Will be back for sure.

Taqueria Las Peñitas is a very quiet place to eat some good food. Food is made when you order, and portions are good size for the price. It is simple, busy, and feels normal if you grew up around Mexican food. Nothing fancy, just good food and a comfortable spot for the local communidad. They also sell grocery items and have a butcher for meat.
