Very good authentic Mexican restaurant, yum! Had the chicken enchiladas and they were awesome! A very surprising find in a different location in caldwell :)
Parking: Very small free parking lot, but i believe side street parking is available. But it was tight quarters for a pickup truck FYI

This is one of those places that you really don't want to talk about...not because it's not good ....but exactly the opposite....this place is so good that you don't want to see it go Hollywood.....of course I want them to do well and continue their success....but I still love that it is still low key ...I have never been disappointed coming here and don't even mind having to drive across the Treasure Valley to get here. The food is always great...the service...always fast, attentive and friendly...and the environment colorful and inviting...I am by no means an expert on Mexican food...but I know what good food is....this is good food.

The only bummer about El Compa is the fact that they're closed on Taco Tuesday.
The guacamole is very tasty as an appetizer. The shredded beef chimichanga was delicious. Portion sizes are larger than most places. I would recommend bringing a good appetite.

My family and I ate here the food is good but the service is not we waited 10-12 minutes we had gotten our drinks then after that we decided what we wanted to eat but the watier forgot about us had someone else take out order but before that watiers just kept on walking past us not realizing someone needs to take our order took awhile but finally someone did omg

We ate here on Cinco de Mayo. There was a full house, festive and friendly. Hubby and I ate half of each of our dinners, saving the rest for later. We shared a flan dessert. Hubby also had horchata. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. This is our favorite Mexican restaurant in Caldwell, and we'll keep coming back.
