This is one of very best meals my wife and I have had. We had honey-almond chicken and general Tso's Chicken with fried rice and noodles - OUTSTANDING!!!! Again - one of the best!!!! At 68 yrs of age, we've eaten at a ton of Chinese restaurants and Li's is in the top 2-3!!! Li was our waiter, cook and clean up guy - we arrived just after lunch rush i think. He was a treat to visit with and had a nice sense of humor! He even gave us fresh watermelon - no charge...
Li brings the best of Chinese cuisine to the Cambridge area from his hometown of Shanghai. His prices are more reasonable than most Chinese restaurants. And the portions are ginormous!
This place is fantastic. I tend to gravitate towards small, out-of-the-way establishments as these often provide some of the best culinary experiences. They just need to be discovered. This small restaurant on the way south to Boise is a great stop for some of the best quality Chinese food I've had in a while. Everything was cooked and seasoned just right and the service was phenomenal. The fresh watermelon appetizer was a perfect way to start the meal and Li was very friendly...
