“Update: I’m leaving my original complaint posted, but I’m updating my rating because I want to extend my sincere appreciation to the manager for her quick response and resolution.
Her response time was incredibly impressive, and she also explained the steps she’s taking to prevent this from happening again. Now that’s outstanding management! She’s won us back as customers, and we appreciate her commitment to the quality and efficiency of her business. Thank you!
Movin’ on… time to order those hot poppers! For starters… 😉
And we love your new beautiful building, by the way!

We went to Fuji for my birthday dinner. Until tonight, it was one of our favorite places to eat.
The hostess seated us, but after at least 10 minutes without anyone coming to our table, I got up and asked if she could send a server. She told me all the servers were in a meeting, even though we could see a server waiting on another couple in a different section. I paused and looked toward that table, but she offered no explanation.
If a meeting was going to delay service, we should’ve been told when we arrived. A simple acknowledgment and an apology would’ve gone a long way. We received neither. We waited about 10 more minutes, hoping someone would come to our table. After roughly 20 minutes without service, we left. The hostess showed no care or concern as we walked out.
We’ve had service issues there before, but we loved the food enough to overlook them. Tonight was the breaking point.
We drove over to a newer restaurant we hadn’t tried yet. In contrast - We were greeted with friendly faces, received immediate service, and loved the food even more. It tasted fresher, and our meal felt like a healthier choice. It turned out to be a much better place to celebrate my birthday.
The sad part is that we’ll miss our favorite waitress, Lily. She’s usually working hibachi when we’re there, so we rarely get to have her as our server anymore. She’s someone we’ve always appreciated, and we’ll miss her.
If you’re deciding where to eat, don’t let a beautiful new building fool you. My recommendation is to skip Fuji and give another place a try. Good food brings people in, but how you treat them determines whether they come back.“
