“If you are looking for a unique place to stay with charm and character, this is it! We enjoyed our stay at Greenbriar as well as the food in the restaurant downstairs. It's an old home so there are some creaks so if you want something modern, this isn't the place. The staff was very nice and we would stay again. It was clean and comfortable.“

“We went for a family dinner and to try some of their St. Patricks Day eats. The atmosphere was really nice and has been updated to allow lighting to come through the storefront windows (they used to be painted with a European countryside scene that was nice but made it feel like you were in a cave). The wait staff and chef were nice and accommodating of our large family. The food: The kids all had kids secret sauce spaghetti. They all loved it. When the chef so how quickly they devoured it she sent out a platter of fries on the house. My daughter tried the adult portion of chicken fettuccine. It tasted great and filled her up. Had I ordered it I would have wanted to add a Caesar salad. We don’t order a Caesar salad but after seeing a neighboring tables salad, I def had fomo and have added it to the next time list.My wife and I ordered from the St. Patricks Day special menu that was advertised on Facebook. I had homemade meatballs on a bed of mashed potatoes. They tasted great and came with a sauce that was tasty when mixed with the mashed potatoes. I added a bowl of leek soup. It was tasty and reminded me of potato soup with bits of crunchy celery added. It was really good. My wife had a special pizza with sauerkraut and sausages. I wasn’t a fan but she loved it.If you haven’t been in a while, I’d give this place a try. It’s been updated with a new menu and decor. The tables all had linen table clothes and napkins. The dress was a mix of casual (us) and some tables dressed up for a nice dinner. It’s an upscale restaurant sneakily hiding amongst other boring strip center stores. Don’t let the exterior influence your opinion of this place.“

“Small business, one lady and her husband, very nice people. After seeing her website and good prices I ended up booking her. Our wedding was in October of 2022 and we had about 150ish people. She was easy to book, but difficult to get ahold of over the phone, apparently she gets alot of spam calls. After we finally got ahold of her to ask questions, she put my name in her phone and she was very accessible! No samples beforehand, she said to help keep costs down. understandable. She showed up on time and brought everything she needed, food was pretty good, not amazing, but for what we paid it was great! (we did Italian) We did have to do buffet style where we served ourselves, since she didn't really have a crew (she said she would bring people) so that was the only hiccup. Other than that it went smoothly. They show up, set up, and clean up themselves. If you want to support a small business, I'd book with taste of country, just know things may not be as streamlined as a large caterer. Would recommend if you have a smaller wedding you need catered!“
