I went here hoping to get something gluten free (I have celiacs), the server told me nothing is gluten free. Not even the steak. So I moved onto another restaurant, which is too bad. I'm only writing this review to let people know who have food intolerance. There is a misinformed customer who wrote they had many items available.

I ordered the chicken strips,ceviche, and rice and beans. Before ever tasting the food, Veronica was lovely. Courteous and efficient. A sauce lover,I asked for a sample of each sauce. She took the time to package and label each one, not charging any extra.. bravo to the customer service here and once I got home and tasted my entrees..yumm! I'll be back!

It has been a LONG time since I have been “wowed” by Mexican food. The quality and freshness at El Jefes was amazing! We got the street tacos and the steak sandwich. The food stood on its own but then the atmosphere and customer service made it even better! My husband and I have definitely found our new spot! A must try indeed!

Absolutely delicious. My fiancé and came in because of the reviews and word of mouth and boy, I'm so glad we did! The chicken sandwich? One of the best sandwiches I've ever had. It was messy and saucy and the chicken alone had the best flavor. We already know what were trying on our next visit! Definitely go. It's delicious!
Not what I expected since my first love is an enchilada, but the burritos were good (huge - too much for a single meal) and the queso waffle chips were nice. Plenty of hot sauces at your table to sample. If you have mobility issues or a disability, the high stools might prove troublesome. Staff very friendly and efficient. Lovely Piper, at the front counter, was so friendly and attentive. Thank you.

We shared the steak tacos, Elote side. Also tried the chicken sandwich. All the food was quite delicious, flavorful, and authentic. We appreciated the small simple menu. They also have Cali Squeeze Blood Orange on tap- our fave! The only negative in a we wish they had outside seating as we like to dine outside in the summer and also bring our dog. But the food was so good, we will be back!
