Great gelato option, but in the dozen or so times I've been here, I've never seen a traditional gelato flavor.I would love to see limone, frutti di bosco, fragola, stracciatella, bacio. I've never been to a gelato shop in Italy that these aren't an *always* available staple.I would raise this to 5 stars if I could get traditional gelato staples here.

Absolutely LOVE their Gelato! I've traveled all over Italy eating gelato. Gelato by the Lake has the BEST I've had and really makes me feel like I'm back in Italy all over again! I highly recommend them!

During our vacation in CDA, we found a lovely routine where, after dinner, we would walk to a nearby gelato shop. Their gelatos were consistently fantastic, and they even had vegan flavors, which was a relief for my son, who has a dairy intolerance. The non-dairy options were surprisingly delicious too. It was a simple yet delightful addition to our vacation experience. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving it a try.

Mint chocolate gelato was good, Reese's was ok. Not much flavor aside from the candy pieces. Portions were smaller than I remember 2 years ago. My kids got a "free scoop" card from school at the end of last school year and we went in to use it. The counter girls wouldn't honor it. They said it's expired, though there's no expiration date, and I was paying for another scoop as well. I think that's pretty rude, I would've tossed the coupon if it had a printed expiration date. But since we received poor service the next time we go out for a frozen treat I'll take my kids somewhere else.

Good selection of flavors that tasted like they were made with real ingredients and weren’t too sweet. I always like splitting flavors and unfortunately that isn’t an option here if you get a single scoop, but no biggie. Great location in CdA.

This ice cream is a poor imitation of Italian gelato. It was neither rich nor creamy. I had Amarena ice cream which lacked cherries and cherry sauce, just a light stream of cherry flavoring in the mix. Finally, the selection was minimal, perhaps 8-10 different flavors, with the only chocolate option lactose-free. This is supposed to be gelato.

Really good huckleberry gelato. The selection of flavors was pretty extensive and they all looked freshly made. I found the waiting line process a little confusing. They ought to add a rope divider and signage. Only one worker trying to serve and charge on a busy holiday weekend was astonishing. Management needs to figure that one out!!

Great service and nice selection of flavors. Their downfall was that Gelato is supposed to be slightly firmer than soft serve but this gelato was as hard as regular ice cream. We thought maybe being too cold masked the flavor a bit. Good but not great.
