went there for my son's 21'st birthday, bartender was awesome, gave my son a free cake, the food was amazing, good prices, great home town feel!

The Roost in McCall is a popular spot for family meals and after-work drinks. While not upscale like the Shore Lodge nearby, it offers great burgers, finger steaks, BLT, and tri-tip dip philly style with generous portions. The atmosphere is decent, country, and comfy, with a homey feel. The staff is friendly, attentive, and treats everyone like family. The food is delicious and incredible, with fantastic french fries. It gets busy but remains a nice, homey place to get bar food and a couple beers with family or friends. Parking is ample, accommodating even larger vehicles like RVs. A must-visit for those heading to Tamarack resort—better food and less resort prices. Avoid the Bloody Mary, but overall, it's a highly recommended place.
