I found the bakery online. My son was having a destination wedding in the area. Alicia was very nice, but I always had to reach out 2 or 3 times before she responded. She asked to communicate by email, but I had to call to get a response.
The cake was ready when promised and the presentation was beautiful! Even better than the photo we provided.
The flavor was a bit weak. We ordered lemon but it really didn't have much flavor.
But sadly, the cake was so HARD, and difficult to bite into that my new daughter-in-law actually bit my son's finger when they fed each other cake!!
Although it was kind of funny, it wasn't so funny to spend $350 on a cake no one could eat. 🥺
I had purchased the cake as a gift to them, and I was very embarrassed.

Edited- I came when the store happened to be closed, but I see now that as a small business, that can happen, rarely, so if one is making a special trip, maybe call ahead just in case. Also, Google Maps does not give very good directions. It is one street east of where it says, on the left. But, the baked goods are excellent! Even though I'm not gluten-free, I still love them. Perfect for celiacs and wheat sensitive. Thanks!

Words cannot describe how much I love this bakery! It has become apart of my daily life weather its coffee, a brownie, or my weekly doughnut… I always have to stop by whenever I can. The owner is such a hard worker and you can taste the love in every bite. Not to mention its all gluten free! She really filled a HUGE gap in this community. Thank you for opening your doors to us ??
As someone who came from an area with a ton of vegan options, I was SOOO excited to know that this local female-owned company doesn't only just do vegan well, but gluten free too! I bought a custom cake and surprised my father-in-law with it for his birthday and didn't even tell him it was vegan and gf. He said it was the best cake he'd ever ate!!! And he's a picky eater! You have to try her pastries too, they are amazing!

The owner is so accommodating and incredibly helpful. I received a cake for my 21st birthday and it was eaten within a day. The amount of time and dedication going into each and every dessert is astounding. I will happily be buying more cakes and treats from Dulce again!

Even as a gluten friendly individual I’d recommend her gluten free desserts. But you don’t want to get me started on those chocolate tres leches cakes….. #yum
