Hazy day hazy beer found at one of the local grog spots Black Canyon Brewing. Every town needs a brewery like this friendly staff beers we tried the Hard Knock Life I think it's a duplicate to old Rasputin from North Coast in California I ended up with a blurred line IPA hazy really good girlfriend had the full proof alibi, I knew we needed an alibi for something....

Friendly and helpful service, good beer, and tasty food. What else is there?I highly recommend the jalapeno poppers, which have cream cheese the way God intended.

Underwhelming experience.Sat and waited considerable amount of time before anyone came out of the back area to serve us.Very limited drink menu and beer selection.Although there was a food menu on the table the server told us "we're basically out of everything". We wanted nachos but he said they're out. Why is there a menu on the table if you're out of everything.Server seemed more annoyed than friendly.

If you like beer, do yourself a favor and stop in. Even if it's out of your way, make the drive and STOP IN! I really like beer and over the years I have visited my fair share of craft breweries across the country. I can easily say that Black Canyon brewing (from a beer quality and taste perspective) is one of the best and maybe the best that I've ever visited. It's that good. We stopped in and ordered the sampler (flight). Like most breweries we figured we'd enjoy half the beers sampled and pass on the other half. Not at Black Canyon. Each beer we tasted was exceptional and they have some of the most unique beers (in a great way) that we've ever tasted. Black Canyon isn't afraid to do some outside the box exploration with their processes and they have hit a home run. They have flavors I've never tasted in any other beer and they pull it off wonderfully. Wow, wow, wow!! Add to the beer some of the kindest, friendliest and funny servers that work hard to make you feel at home and appreciated as a customer and Black Canyon easily races past other craft breweries. The ambiance of the establishment is clean, sleek and welcoming. Did I happen to mention that the beers are out of this world? We've been into Black Canyon several times and the beers rotate often. With the beer rotations we were worried that we'd lose our 'favorites' but with the rotations we are constantly finding new 'favorites'. I can't speak at length about the food at BC as we've only had a few items to snack on with our beer (they were really good). I image that most the food items are likely fantastic much like the beer. To the owners of Black Canyon, I can't stress enough that you have something very special in what your doing. You have some of the best recipes that would take beer awards on any stage and I hope that folks take the opportunity to see what I'm raving about. Black Canyon easily distinguishes itself from a very crowded craft brewery field. Enjoy!

This place is great! Service is very good. Attentive! Beer suggestions and tasting. We hit their 1st anniversary. Kitchen was closed waiting for food truck. Cook came out to help with tables and brought us their normal menu. We WILL be back next time we're in Idaho!!

My wife and I live in Star, Idaho. We headed over to Emmett to renew our driver's licenses and stopped in at Black Canyon Brewing for a beer and some lunch prior to returning home. I ordered their Temper Tantrum IPA, which they warned me was very hoppy. Well, since I happen to like IPAs and hops I didn't blink. When I tasted it I found it to be drinkable, but it was anything but an IPA and had absolutely no hops bittering or aroma that I could detect. My wife selected the Peaches and Cream brew and enjoyed it so much that she ordered a second glass (and she is not a beer drinker). For lunch, I had the street tacos and my wife ordered the Bagel Sandy. My tacos didn't taste bad, but I would have expected some real salsa rather than Louisiana hot sauce or Tabasco and maybe some sour cream and/or guacamole for the $14 they charged for three little tacos. My wife said her Bagel Sandy (served with chips), for $12, was OK.Bottom line is that these folks may get their act together before they fold and go out of business, but in the meantime, I will be very hesitant to return.

Good beer and the pulled pork sliders are amazing. Service was awesome too. We'll be back!

I've been to most all breweries in the Treasure Valley and this brewery has the highest number of great beers on the menu of all! They have a limited food menu but the selections are diverse and interesting. The good is good! This is my new go to brewery!!!

Giving this place a sparkling review. We are in town visiting our friends, we are from Boise and dine out frequently. I just had to leave a review here and compliment the team that makes this place Emmett’s hidden gem. Drinks were great, food was seriously fantastic. We had biscuits and gravy, eggs Beni, and the brunch dog.All were really good, but the biscuits and gravy were truly the star of the show. The homemade biscuits were sooo good! And the gravy… we all said “wow” after we took a bite!Staff is sweet, helpful, and timely! They had two different runners, one for drinks and one for food. I can appreciate that being a former server, it makes the place run like a well-oiled machine. Which was our experience. My husband and I and our friends will be returning to try other things on the brunch menu. Very happy we found such an awesome environment that delivers in every single way.

Had the biscuit and gravy and was amazed on how delicious the food was! Gravy is to die for! And the bloody Mary's are one of a kind. We were not disappointed at all. Besides the food being amazing, the staff was so kind and quick to serve us.
