I really wanted this to be our go to. The steaks were good. The service was not. Our waitress dropped off our food and that was about it. It was a disappointment on special occassion. Steaks are thin and small. My baked potato was luke warm so the butter wouldnt melt. I got one refill on my drink in over an hour and a half. It took 3 times to get our bill correct and the waitress was rude about it.

Super spendy for little to no flavor. My fiance and I each ordered a steak and we were both unimpressed with the flavor. There were only two fries to go along with it. Not worth it at all and very expensive. If you are in the area, try out Locking Horns Riverside Restaurant - you won't be disappointed there!!!

Went to Cowboys Chophouse on a date night with my husband. We did not have a reservation and was able to get seated right away. However, we were offered a seat right by the door, which brought in the freezing cold as patrons entered or exited the building. Not really a big deal because we were thankful we were able to get seated right away. However, there were two other parties that came in after us, so without reservations, and they were offered to sit at other tables, further away from the door.(first world problems)I ordered the rib eye, and veggies, which were green beans. The steak was maybe 1/4" thick. It was cooked perfectly and I honestly inhaled my dinner because it was so good. The salad was spot on and I enjoyed every bite! We also ordered two desserts to-go. I chose the 7 sins chocolate cake - $9 and my husband chose the strawberry cake - $11.In total we paid about $140 - not including tip. No appetizers or alcoholic beverages. I had water and my husband ordered a soda.I do recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere, service, and food, are definitely worth the extra splurge.
Cowboys offers a great menu, friendly service and a nice atmosphere for enjoying an up scale dining experience. For those that say the prices are too high, I say that you get what you pay for. Just try driving over the hill to the Boise area and finding a better deal with better food. This place is a rare gem, located ironically in Gem County.

OMG!! Do you want a great steak? Do you want a casual environment? Do you want friendly people serving you? This is the place!! Great food, great environment, casual, you are instantly relaxed. Prices are reasonable. You need a reservation, so there's never a wait. Try this place, it's fantastic!!!!

Enjoyed 2 dinners here in recent months. We secured reservations on Yelp, which is so nice. The staff is great, location is easy to access downtown and was able to park right in front on Main St. Here is the summary of the food... *Salads-Excellent! *Side dishes (baked potato, etc)-Excellent *Adult drinks-Excellent *8 oz Filet-Excellent! *10 oz Ribeye-it is a miss for me. The meat was a bit too tough to enjoy and won't be in my list in the future. We enjoy the restaurant and will certainly be back and invite you to as well, hope to bump into you there!
