When saw they had local food I have to stop in and check them out. Then I was even more impressed by their menu. Salmon burgers. Fries made with beef tallow. $2 Tuesday shrimp tacos. Cherry cider. Delicata squash fries. Love what they’re doing! Can’t believe something this cool is in Fruitland! Love their commitment to staying local and healthy and fresh. I’ll definitely be coming back.

With a response like this from the owner we will NEVER give this place our business. I look through reviews before i eat somewhere and this seems a little arrogant and uncalled for, obviously the owner can't take constructive criticism. Just because you had zero vioations on a health inspection does not mean someone didn't get sick from eating there, seems your cooks have subpar practices looking at reviews

I heard about Hitchcock Station and wanted to try it for months. Finally, my family and I got to go. The food was fresh, the burgers were awesome. My kids loved their meals. They use fresh ingredients and fry their fries in beef tallow. We ate there and didn't feel sluggish or sick after eating there. I look forward to the next time we all go together. If you want fresh and delicious food that makes you feel good, this is the place to go! I highly recommend.

Owner went to everyone’s table and greeted them except ours. Asked for a highchair and he told his employee my baby did not need one (he is 1). Total jerk. We were there almost til about closing time when owner said “are they still here” and looked at our table. We got up paid and left. Definitely recommend coming here if you want to be disrespected by the owner! :)

We recently enjoyed a company gathering at Hitchcock Station. This establishment, formerly a filling station, has been transformed into a relaxed burger joint, featuring an open kitchen and seating arrangement, along with a selection of beer and wine. Although outdoor seating was available, we opted to dine indoors. Our server, Miguel, provided exceptional service, ensuring our glasses were always full and attending to our needs with great care. To begin, the table shared a variety of fries, with the truffle fries receiving particularly high praise. The majority of us ordered burgers, while a few chose fish and chips. I had the pleasure of sharing a Van Lith Ranch ribeye for two, which was truly outstanding. It was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Overall, it was a wonderful evening, and everyone left feeling satisfied. I highly recommend Hitchcock Station and eagerly anticipate returning in the future.
