“Fruitland doesn't get a lot of attention but we found a nice little eatery that is worth a stop when near Payette, Ontario or Weiser. Hitchcock Station is an old gas station that's bern transformed into a hamburger joint. And more than just a burger shack. Owner Emran Chowdhury was born in Bangladesh and moved with his family at age 12 to Toronto. He was a chef in Seattle before moving to Boise and spending a stint at Alavita. He later met retired three-time NFL Pro-Bowl tackle Jordan Gross of the Carolina Panthers and together they operated a food truck Boon Farm to Fork. In January 2023, Chowdhury opened his restaurant at the old gas station, a building owned by Gross in his hometown. It's located at 402 SW 3rd St. The burger offerings looked great, but Kristy and I opted for the surf-and-turf lunch special, steak slices in a light sauce and grilled shrimp. I added a huckleberry shake. Beef comes from Van Lith Ranch in Payette, with brioche buns supplied by Big City Bakery. Besides the lunch special, they offer a separate dinner special. Tonight it was fish and chips. Everything was really good and the service was friendly.”

“Top Notch Place!! You can tell it's been a labor of love for the new owners. (less than 2 years I believe). They have remodeled a ton and have a ton of kewl different things going on. Karaoke twice a month, painting once a month and more stuff i'm sure I haven't heard about. Today they had the UFC PPV from ABU DABHI at the weird time it aired and for free to their customers!! TOP NOTCH IN MY BOOK!!. GREAT ATMOSPHERE, STAFF AND VIBE.! You'll see me there alot from here on out. (Good Single Ladies take note, I'm one of the good ones lol)”

“I wanted to give a shout out to the barista that helped me today. I believe the receipt said her name was Joanna. She was super friendly and wanted me to taste the coffee she had made then and there to make sure I liked it, which is real customer service! When I told her the coffee was for a coworker, she gave me some extras of the coffee in a separate cup to try, free of charge! Keep it up! People like you make the world a better place!”

“4.3/5 It took about 8 minutes of standing at the front door to be seated although it looked like plenty of tables were still available. my buddy ordered the burger and fries and myself the chicken bowl with noodles and we both wanted to try some sushi. I believe it was called Tigers eye? He said his burger was pretty good, the fries were ok, my chicken bowl was good the chicken was nice and fresh and the noodles good but I felt it had a little too much Teriyaki sauce. That sauce goes a long way so less is more. We both thought the Sushi was good, the rice tasted like it was going a bit old and dry but still really good. Great service from our waiter and a beautiful restaurant and surprisingly really good price for what we got, it wasn't overpriced like most places nowadays.”

“Waited for three minutes for someone to come up front to wait on the two people in line we got the special and the garlic bread we got is smaller than a pizza slice and by the time I paid the bill with tip it $29 and I went and got it. Pizza is always good but way to expensive and the special with “garlic bread” was a joke and asked no olives she said they were mushrooms and clearly they were olives what a joke”

“We were traveling through Ontario the other day and were lucky enough to have someone give us Berts as a recommendation for a quick meal/beer while making our 7-hour trek. Loved the automotive theme behind it all and the selection of beers they had on tap were excellent. We ordered a Gyro and Cuban and both were excellent. Quick service, with a smile and great prices. A must stop while in Ontario or the area.”

“We had a 70th birthday celebration and had Romio’s cater. It was all delicious! Our 15 year old grandson said it is the best pizza he has ever had and believe me, he has eaten a lot of pizza! The salad, bread, fettuccine, spaghetti and 8 different kinds of pizza were all so yummy! Thank you John & Patty Fagan for a fabulous dinner! We would recommend Romio’s hands down!”
