A Lively Chef Catering

We had A Lively Chef cater our wedding and Lizzy was so great to work with in terms of creating a menu, and on the day of the wedding, the food tasted great and the serving staff was very professional and attentive and presentable. We really enjoyed having this company cater our wedding and would highly recommend!

We had ALCC cater our October wedding, and were extremely pleased with both their process in the lead up and the results day-of! The wedding day food was even better than the tasting, and the tasting was already a superior experience. ALCC was timely, orderly, communicated clearly throughout, and has a very friendly staff and ownership team. So relieved to have wonderful and grateful compliments from our guests on the quality of the food. We also found that ALCC had a great quality to price ratio; we'd be happy to have them cater other events for us in the future!

Exquisite food menu and AMAZING customer service. I called for an estimate and Elizabeth was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful if quoting me for my special event. I will most defiantly be using them in the future.

I recently hired A Lively Chef and I couldn't have been more impressed! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional, the service was friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and the presentation was exactly what we wanted. They made our event truly memorable.

We had A Lively Chef cater our mother’s large Celebration of Life event, and want to express how wonderful the entire experience was for us. From our first meeting to clean up, Stacy and Lizzy provided us with the absolute best in service. The food was fantastic; it was tasty, plentiful, and innovative. Kudos to chef. The decorations and linens were also very very nice. I highly recommend this establishment!!

Sadly, we were very disappointed in our experience with A Lively Chef at my daughters wedding in June. They say it was an anomaly, yet it was truly awful and caused devastating results for our guests and ourselves. The taste trial was nearly a year ahead as this was the second vendor we chose. What we chose that day was delicious. Appetizers, sides and some main dishes were late or forgotten completely. What was delivered day of the wedding was not delicious and very disappointing. It looked bad, tasted bland, was cold and worst of all they left behind 24 of 140 meals leaving us short on multiple items. Only dry salad for the last 20 guests.
While they refunded a partial for the missed items, the food we did get served was worth very little and not likely half of the nearly 6k we spent. Thankfully, we were able to shield the bride and groom from this disaster, until folks left hours early due to hunger. Nothing except an empty apology (and a small check a month later for part of the items missed) was offered by the time we complained that evening and in later conversations we were shamed and blamed for not being more understanding to their mistakes and shortcomings. The honest truth is NOTHING can give us a repeat of our meal and the food portion of our wedding experience. I have waited months to note our experiences, mostly due to feeling the need to move on and focus on the parts of the wedding that were lovely. Legally, since they delivered "something" we have little recourse unless we want to spend gobs of $$ on a lawyer or go to small claims. Awful!

I have had the pleasure of this fantastic business catering two family events. And what an amazing set up they provided.

Hands down, this was the best catering experience we have ever had! They excel in everything - from planning, food options, food quality, service, communication - all of it! We had them cater our daughter's wedding for 145 people, and they handled it so well. Many of our guests commented on the great food, and I had zero issues dealing with them in the run up or during the event. I will definitely use them the next time I need catering! Thank you!

So great! They were easy to work with and provided a seamless experience at my wedding for all the guests! I loved all of the food and the service was professional and timely. The only thing that wasn’t absolutely perfect was I felt the chicken dish we ordered was dry, but the sauce they had made up for it mostly!

We had such a fantastic experience with ALCC! They assisted with our event last Saturday 12/16. Stacy made planning the menu a breeze and she was so timely and kind in her responses to all of my questions.The food was fresh and delicious, the staff was so professional, and they even matched the Decor on the catering tables to match our event.
