“Great thinner style crust pizza. We had the Hawaiian and butter chicken pizza and enjoyed both. Slices came out in about 5-10 minutes. Very kind and friendly staff.”

“Just had dinner at Black Moon with my husband for the first time. It is an interesting layout as you order then sit down. The pizza with jalapeños and pineapple was really good. The pear Gorgonzola salad is bomb. The tea cake bread was ok. We had our mind on more of a cake texture so it wasn’t what we were wanting but it was good! Christina was great. She was personable and did a good job. Ricky was also nice and helpful. We highly recommend!”

“Without a doubt, the finest Taqueria in Boise! I had a Carnitas burrito, served with sour cream and guacamole. I could’ve easily been satisfied by eating, just half, and the remaining half would’ve fed me another day - but I couldn’t stop eating!An amazing fresh salsa bar, and all you can eat chips!! do not hesitate to bring the entire family here. I will for sure be back.”

“Wepa Cafe is a great little restaurant we discovered back home after cruising the Caribbean out of Puerto Rico a couple years ago. I immediately started recreating some of our culinary experiences at home, and eventually found Wepa for date nights with my wife. Our favorite entree on the menu so far is the Pernil, which is flavorfully roasted pork shoulder. Super good, and after loving Wepa's Pernil, I started making it at home occasionally in my Traeger. We love Wepa, so I actually called and spoke to the owner one time. He was super nice. One of our favorite dishes on the ground in PR was something a little restaurant called Canoitas Amarillos (little ripe plantain "canoes," basically). I've made this at home, and look forward to trying something similar at Wepa someday. It's basically like a Caribbean lasagna with the fried ripe plantains in place of noodles, a tomato and meat sauce flavored heavily with sazon, and mazarella melted over the top. If you ever get a chance to try this dish, don't pass it up! Go Wepa!”

“Beautiful winery, atmosphere, and service! We tried the Rose and Red flight, and the Summer flight. Our waitress? She was great! Informative and attentive. There is the option to order food along with your wine -we didn’t as we had lunch plans elsewhere. The seating was great, both inside and out. Very busy place and I can see why! Enjoyable experience whether you have a membership or just stopping in for a tasting.”

“The Local ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Local in Boise is “a neighborhood Eatery and Wine Pub, offering live music and rotating artists.” They also have a dog, friendly patio and a Dog menu. MW and I visited during Happy Hour, which is Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 5 PM. We ordered a mix of items off of the happy hour menu and the regular menu. We started with Hurricane Popcorn - A Hawaiian favorite - with Nori Furikaki and Japanese rice crackers. It was very flavorful and unlike any popcorn I’ve ever had before. This is a unique menu items The Local is known for. We ordered two side Caesar salads. I like that it had homemade croutons, but it needed a little more more dressing.  We shared an order of Carnitas Street Tacos, to which we added 1 extra taco. The pork was tender, but the tacos were pretty bland. We shared an order of Smash Sliders - 3 smash burgers using our own custom burger blend from Porterhouse in Eagle, with classic American cheese. They were tasty. Unfortunately, I forgot to get a photo! We shared two desserts: Berry Crisp - Blackberry cobbler topped with vanilla ice cream. The berry crisp was excellent! Crème Brûlée - Simple and delicious vanilla crème brulee. The crème brûlée was good, but not great. The texture wasn’t as creamy as it should’ve been. We visited early on a weekday, so we didn’t get to hear any live music, but we pretty much had the place to ourselves until towards the end of our visit. Overall, the food was good, but not great. However, they do have a bigger menu than most wine bars and they allow dogs on the patio. The Dog Menu looks excellent! The Local has a nice Wine Menu, as well as several local beers on tap. If you’re looking for a nice wine bar with a neighborhood pub vibe, The Local is worth considering. I would like to return and try their Pepe’s Famous Fish Tacos. The pictures of their flatbread look excellent too. * The Local is wheelchair accessible. Recommended!”

“Such good Mexican food. Slightly elevated food and the flavoring was really good. The molcajete loco was fantastic. Celebrated the wife's birthday and they gave her a pinata for dessert. Haven't seen that anywhere else yet and it was really cool!”

The dishes are delicious and use home-grown ingredients, the staff is very nice and hospitable, and the food is more affordable than most other fancy restaurants in the area. A strong recommendation for anybody looking for some great authentic Italian food!”

“I love this place! The staff is always welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere is clean, well laid out, and comfortable. By far the best part is the product. Organic coffee, organic milk, and they have raw milk as an option for just $1 more. I appreciate having a coffee option that is just as good, if not higher quality than what I can make in my own kitchen.

“Visiting from California, I was surprised that this is pretty much the only option available in Boise considering its size. This isn't an issue as their milk tea is awesome! Only downside is that the tapioca pearls seem a bit hard/not sweet enough, but otherwise this place is excellent.”

Prices are a bit high though, even for a small sub.
The food tasted fresh and was delicious. Bread was very fresh which made the sandwich in my opinion.
Be patient as they make it handmade and it may take a little time to do so, especially if busy. You can also order online I believe, this may be the better option.”
