“Cozy little spot tucked away in Garden City. The staff was friendly, the food came out super fast, and everything tasted really fresh.

There’s definitely a little bit of that gentrification vibe creeping into the area, but honestly, it worked here. Great atmosphere, good people, and really solid food.

“finally a good Mexican restaurant since i moved to Idaho from San Diego.... great menu i loved the beans and my el pascal tacos very tasty, the tortilla soup very good and good chips and salsa... i will be a regular customer and highly recommend you try it out for yourself!“

“This is not normal fast-food service — this is above and beyond. Kayla and the night crew stepped up when an order was stolen during my DoorDash delivery. Without hesitation, they remade the food to protect the customer experience and made sure everything worked out. Their kindness literally made the difference between a bad night and a great one for both me and the customer. Leadership should be incredibly proud of this team.

“The food and overall atmosphere was great for Sunday brunch, but apparently they employ a DJ to play music on Sundays during brunch which is so loud, it was extremely difficult to carry on a conversation let alone enjoy your meal. My ears are still ringing. My friend and I weren’t the only people in the restaurant requesting the volume to be decreased. Brunch should be a relaxing atmosphere, not feeling like you are at a night club….“

“Matador is an awesome Mexican restaurant with absolutely delicious tacos! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is great, and the service really makes the experience even better.

Brad, the manager, is awesome and does a great job taking care of everyone. The entire waitstaff and bartenders were friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service.

Better than some other ones we had been to.
I'll tell everyone I know about the tortilla factory.
Only thing is, some foods were to salty for my taste, my husband has high blood pressure, salt is not good for him“

“I’m in Boise for work. I’m from Texas so I know good Mexican food and Tex-mex and this place was very delicious. I had the cabeza and lengua tacos. The meat was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. I had some tamales that were also delicious. The masa was different than what I’m used to but delicious. There was a market attached to the restaurant with the basic necessities. I highly recommend. This is the best Mexican food place I’ve had in the north and I travel for work all the time“

“I went around the afternoon. The young lady working the drive thru, is amazing! She spoke clearly, at a reasonable speed and, she read my order back to me. I haven't had the best experience at other locations. From being told they dont make a certain burrito anymore that, they still do (just ordered it yesterday) to, getting attitude from the girls working. Like, my service was more of a hassle for them. However, this location (fairview by taco bell), the service was awesome! I actually tipped $10 which, I haven't done in 5 yrs due to the service I would get. This young lady made such an impression on me that I actually felt a tip was necessary. I will be going here and only here from now on. Thank u for ur incredible service. U r appreciated!“

“Never been before but it was sooo good for fast-food Mexican! Love that their American side dishes are actually delicious. Also love that I can eat healthy, getting char-broiled chicken & coleslaw for lunch. My husband got the mac & cheese side and it was amazing. The quesobarria tacos are delicious, as is the consumme. Just wish there was a bit more seating. In that regard, it is definitely a small, fast food place. Since I can have a meal that is not full of carbs while making my hubby happy as well, we will definitely be back!“
